Excellent place to stay overnight.
Our visit to the farm was excellent. Karla's hospitality, as well as the rest of the family, was top notch. The workers on the farm were so friendly and helpful. De Rusty Farm's home-baked bread is a must. Thank you very much, will visit a little longer next time.
We loved our stay. The host and her family were very friendly, always checking if we needed something. It's a good escape from the city life.
Super clean, great comfy beds, wonderful space, and extra special touches. The freshly baked bread was to die for. We will make this our pit stop on this road now.
The accommodation was comfortable yet modest, but very good for the price and accessibility. Will definitely stay over again when in the area.

We really enjoyed our time. The park and the pool were a big plus. My kids didn't even want to leave when we had to leave. It was very peaceful and clean. We sat on the bench and drank coffee in the morning while listening to the workers on the farm and the birds. It was heavenly. I would like to come again and try the other cottages. But "Pure Plaas" was perfect for the four of us - 2 adults and 2 children. We had peaceful nights and even the passing vehicles were not a problem. I will definitely recommend you guys. I had a lovely overnight stay in a beautiful setting. The reception was friendly and hospitable.
We arrived late and the host was very accommodating. He even arranged dinner for us which was ready upon our arrival. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy and we felt safe.
So sorry we couldn't stay longer! All you need. Karen immediately made us feel at home. Thank you very much for letting us stay there.

We had a great time 'on the farm'! Friendly but discreet host and lady - efficient check-in process. Cottage equipped with everything needed. Nespresso machine was a nice bonus! Lovely swimming pool and visit/braai area with a beautiful view of the Karoo plain and hills. Perfect accommodation for families with children or for couples or singles looking for peace and quiet. Village, De Rust, with several places to eat not far at all, as well as lovely Meiringspoort with a nice waterfall and swimming hole. All in all, it was a lovely visit and highly recommended.

Overnight stop, was everything we needed, and braai wood was supplied. You can get bread baked at an extra cost, it was delicious and supplied with butter and jam.

Close to town. Complimentary coffee at a local restaurant. Braai facilities with wood. Quality coffee with sugar and milk. Very nice.
Friendly people, peaceful farm atmosphere and very good value for money.
The hosts were courteous, helpful and prompt. We felt safe. However, the door provided no sense of privacy because it is glass, so it was a little unsettling to move between the shower and the bedrooms. A fireplace would have been welcome as it rained on our last day, and the evening was quite chilly, so we piled on all the additional blankets.
Good value for what you pay. Would just advise not to order the food. The braai suits are very small and not enough for a grown man. WiFi signal very weak.
