The apartment is beautiful and luxurious. Nice braai area on the roof. Very safe.
The reliability of the lift was appreciated since I travel with my parents who are over 75 years old. The temperature of the pool was lovely as it wasn't cold. The unit was equipped with fans which were really needed in the humid weather during our stay. The central location made it easy to travel to markets and other sightseeing points. We felt quite safe. Very beautiful and modern unit. No loadshedding in that area is a big bonus. Very few minor challenges were experienced. Only having 1 toilet/shower was a challenge for 6 people. The loft room, which is supposed to accommodate 2 people, is definitely too small. Luckily we only had 1 person sleeping in the loft room. If the second bed had to be pulled out, there would literally be no space to walk. Wi-Fi was capped and depleted a day before we left, since there is no decoders it meant DSTV and all other options were only available through streaming. Capped/depleted Wi-Fi resulted in no options to access DSTV/Netflix/YouTube or any other apps. This was disappointing as we intended to relax with a movie on our last night before travelling the long road back home the next morning. I would suggest either plastic or glass bowls with lids for the kitchen as anything (salad/leftover meat) stored in the fridge without a lid dries out when not covered. Luckily we had an empty ice cream bowl. This was not a major issue, but just a suggestion. Amidst all, we enjoyed our stay and were comfortable.
We had a great time and the rooftop is amazing for a nice braai.
