We enjoyed our 3-night stay at De Zeekoe and did the safari tour at Wildehondekloof, the emu farm tour, Cango Caves, and the wonderful meerkat tour. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The Oudtshoorn area is very beautiful, and we had a restful stay at De Zeekoe. We would stay again at De Zeekoe and would recommend it to our friends without reservation.

WiFi didn't work in room for most of the stay, router was reset at request, issues persisted. Problem related to loadshedding.
The accommodation is approximately 10 minutes outside the town and is quiet, clean and tidy with a great view from your veranda over the mountains.
Unfortunately, the accommodation was not what we expected from the images. Room was very pokey and dated. Restaurant was terrible, no comfortable space to sit and relax. Photos allude to something more sophisticated. Felt a bit like a boarding house, especially the attitude around loadshedding. 'Tea station' was very underwhelming, only 2 tea bags of earl grey – no rooibos, no coffee, no regular tea. Longlife milk, which could very easily be replaced with fresh farm milk as there is a fridge in the room. You just get the sense that it is run as cheaply as possible.
Lovely rooms, staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
Were looking forward to the star gazing, but were informed that it was cancelled due to cloud cover. That particular night there were no clouds.
Wow, we were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival at De Zeekoe. The view is beautiful and everyone was so friendly. We really enjoyed the pool and the sunset every night was beautiful.
The rooms are absolutely amazing - better than the pictures ever showed. The environment is picturesque and the personal service and friendliness is on another level. The food was unique, unique to the area and incredibly tasty. We are already planning our next holiday, pit stop there and can highly recommend it!
We were pleasantly surprised with the decor and beautiful bathroom, the peaceful atmosphere and view from the balcony. Can't wait to relax there again.
And then I booked the wrong room! Wanted to book self-catering, but haste made me book wrong and we end up in the guest house (which is very neat and stylish). However, we would rather be a bit removed from the rest. This was no problem for Kristy and her team. Soon enough we were moved to the quietest self-catering unit and there we enjoyed the most wonderful, quiet weekend. It was special. Our new "happy place". Many thanks to the friendly staff.
Beautiful house overlooking the plains of the Karoo. Lovely pool to cool off with. Very cozy. Saw fox and turtle around house. Very peaceful and quiet.

Good location, great potential. BUT the devil is in the detail. The log cabin's accessories, crockery, bedding, bathroom are not up to standard. The shower head is hanging loose and has not been repaired even after previous complaints. This makes the shower very uncomfortable. Dinner and breakfast were adequate but could improve a lot. Dinner was overpriced for what was served.
Unfortunately, we could not appreciate the environment 100%, because the time was a bit short. However, we will definitely make a visit there again.
Good facilities with customer oriented staff. Will visit again and can recommend the guest farm.
I don't think the cabins are 6 sleepers ... the cabin is wonderful, but the foldout bed isn't up to standard!
