My room was neat, clean and stylishly decorated. The television in the room does make an unpleasant sound when switched on. The guest house is located in a quiet area. I would definitely recommend DeHoek to anyone visiting Vryburg and I myself would be happy to book here again one day if I have to be in Vryburg.

De Hoek's hostess went out of her way to welcome us and helped and served us as our needs were. Very neat accommodation with the friendliest hostess! Would definitely recommend De Hoek!
We checked in at De Hoek on New Year's Day, we were very kindly received by JP, although the room was not yet ready by 16h00 when we arrived, it was quickly sorted out. The room is comfortable and spacious. Although the guest house advertises as B&B there is no mention of available breakfast for the next day! We weren't even offered the option! Very disappointing was that there was no hot water (we suspect the geyser was turned off, and neglected to turn on again). We were also not provided with a WiFi password, although De Hoek mentions free WiFi. And I feel, seeing that these items are included in the price (hot water, and WiFi) guests should not charge for them! The box of juice and water in the fridge was welcome! I do feel that they are a bit expensive for what they offer.
We will definitely spend the night there more often when we are in Vryburg.
Beautifully decorated, kitchen was great, lovely to be able to sit in garden.
My husband has had a spinal fusion and did not want a shower in a bathtub. Our room was changed quickly and graciously. The staff were very helpful.

We were very kindly received and looked after. The room and bathroom were neat and clean. We didn't get the room we originally booked (at the same price). We had to ask for glasses and mugs. No cutlery available.
I love the food, we were treated like royalty, the place is very beautiful and clean. The owner is super nice and very friendly. I can't wait to go back. Thank you DeHoek. I don't think they get enough credit for what they do.

I was booked into De Hoek Gastehuis as a single person. At the time of my trip to Vryburg, my circumstances changed and I urgently needed accommodation for another person. The staff went out of their way to meet my need. I would recommend De Hoek Gastehuis anytime.

Corne made an extra effort and accommodated me in every way. Breakfast was delicious and thanks again for the delicious road food. I recommend DeHoek to everyone who goes to Vryburg!
We stayed in beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. However, there was no hairdryer or fresh milk. Breakfast was also not included although it is advertised as a B&B. There was also someone else's underwear in the shower. I feel that for R400 per person a little more should have been included. When we realized at half past ten in the evening that we had no hot water, the hostess said it was due to load shedding, but our children's room had hot water. I feel there was not a proper inspection to make sure the rooms are ready to receive guests.
I hosted a training session overnight and the next day at the same venue. Everything was excellently arranged.
