65 guests' feedbackWe had a great time and the apartment is beautiful. The only negative experience was that we struggled with Vodacom data collection. My son worked on his computer daily and he had to drive to catch up, and it was quite an awkward situation.

Great location with spectacular views of whales and dolphins. Fredric was responsive. Comfortable, clean unit with most essentials. was just missing WiFi (cellphone reception is minimal) and soap for hand and dishwashing.
We had a very nice stay. Parking was good and there weren't many stairs to climb. Just remember to bring your own cleaning supplies such as dish soap. I would have preferred if the outside grill was cleaner and there was a decent cleaning brush. Quite a few light bulbs didn't work or were taken out. Lovely view and very peaceful.

Kitchen cupboard doors are down. Roof fans are very slow. WiFi should be strongly considered as there is basically no cell phone reception. The fridge hardly gets cold at all. The owner informed us early on about the water leak in the 2nd bedroom.

This unit is beautiful with an incredible view of the sea. Well equipped with everything you need, clean and tidy. Washing machine and tumble dryer are a huge bonus. Nice outside porch and braai overlooking the sea. It's safe, nice and close to the stand and child-friendly. We really enjoyed it. Thank you very much, we will definitely come again!

Service was great there was follow up before arrival about where to get the keys and everything booked, everything was safe and everyone really enjoyed working in Margate and staying here! 10 out of 10 for the stay!

Apartment is great for a relaxing holiday. Can sit on the porch and watch the whales while hearing the waves break only a block from the apartment. Everything you will need. Comfortable living area. Very safe. The mobile phone signal is unfortunately very bad. There is some maintenance that is lacking - the kitchen cabinets and roof fans need some attention where they are broken, as well as the curtains in the living area that do not want to close. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Del Este 5 in December. The flat has absolutely breathtaking views and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins swim by each afternoon. The flat is walking distance from the beach, manageable even with our toddler and baby (and all the beach equipment they need!) There is also a tidal pool and rocks for exploring just across the way. The flat had everything we could need for our stay, fully functional kitchen and two great sized bedrooms and bathrooms. We felt completely safe and comfortable, even stuck indoors on rainy days. Frederic was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We could not have asked for a better host! And Driekie was wonderful in keeping us in the loop on where to collect and drop off keys and answering our questions. This flat reminds me so much of my childhood holidays, there is a charming and relaxing energy about it that makes it the perfect spot to stay in Margate. Listening to the ocean waves crashing whilst lying on the couch is pure bliss!
The view is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely book again at #5 Del Este. Everything is in the accommodation. Cutlery and crockery is neat and modern.

We enjoyed the close walking distance to the beach, the large patio with built in braai and lovely view, and the security. The price was very reasonable and it was nice to have two bathrooms.

Dit is 'n baie lekker bly plek, baie spasie en naby strand. Lieflike balkon en braai plek en kindervriendelik, vol toegerus en was baie lekker, sal weer terug wees in die toekoms. Ek sal dalk net kyk na gordyne wat dalk gewas moet word en steakmesse wat kort maar verder was dit lieflike daar.

The place just needs some attention like the kitchen cupboards doors need fixing, the shower door broken, the balcony glass door handle broken, need a new broom and the wrack on the sink for the dishes is very filthy as well as the vegetable rack. Otherwise awesome place.

What a fantastic 2 weeks in Del Este 5. Everything was right and in place, I know the owner said it was really a very nice view, but it was fantastic - saw dolphins and whales every day. It was now bread for the soul, just becoming one with nature again and finding yourself again. Thanks to the owners!

A very pleasant stay for South Coast Bike Fest 2018. Close to Margate centre. Flat had all we needed for a long weekend. Will return again.
Ons het die verblyf baie lekker gevind. Die eenheid was baie netjies, baie mooi versier, die ligging is amazing en die uitsig. Baie dankie vir 'n heerlike paar dae in luuksheid.
Very nice view, quiet environment and neighbors, safe for small children. Washing machine and tumble dryer are almost brand new. Bathrooms are tiled and in excellent condition. Parking a bit now but alternative parking (inside complex) is very large. Roof fans are efficient and quiet. Kitchen is very well equipped, stove is new and clean, only single sink (no sink). Iron and ironing board also available. Porch with built-in braai neat, chairs outside comfortable. LCD TV and DStv.
Best travel destination and best memories created.
Everything was perfect. The only thing I had a problem with was the mattress in the main bedroom. It needs to be replaced as it affected my back. Other than that, 10 out of 10.
