Booking is essential. We serve home made meals in the traditional South African way. Nothing can beat a home cooked meal!
About 10 kilometres from the guest house is the historical village, Botshabelo. The word means place of shelter. The town council built a traditional, open-air museum at Botshabelo and Ndebele people still live there today, in the traditional cultural villages. The village is worth a visit.
Middelburg has a few places of interest to visit. Proclaimed a historical monument, the White Church is a true landmark in Middelburg, due to its size and architectural design. British soldiers used it during the Anglo Boer War, which explains why it did not get damaged like so many other churches during that time.
The old Middelburg Railway Station was built in 1890 when Paul Kruger and Portugal entered into an agreement to develop a railway line between Pretoria and Maputo. The railway station is still in use today.

Conveniently located near schools, we stayed to attend sports day. Made extra effort to make extra bed in our room for our daughter. Amenities were fantastic.

We stayed one night and upon arrival we were received by Roelien, a very kind, friendly and helpful person who showed us all the facilities.
