Denneboom really worked well for our get-together and that pool at Vineyard was great although if all the cottages were occupied by different groups the residents of the Loft cottage which is closest to the pool may find their privacy affected.
The children really enjoyed the swimming and wild animals. The service is excellent and we were able to just relax and have some great family time. Will visit again for sure.
Liezl received us very kindly. We even all received a gift. The cottage is beautiful!

The cottage was fully equipped, clean, tidy and private with a lovely splash pool to cool off in. Nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breathtaking to wake up to all the different wild animals moving around and in front of the cottage. Can definitely recommend the place to stay for people with children and people who love wildlife and we will definitely go again. Thank you for Willem and Lizel's hospitality.
I was very very impressed with my stay at Denneboom. The location is absolutely perfect. The view is brilliant! The accommodation itself is very clean, modern and unfussy. My stay with my parents was absolutely brilliant! Hope to go back soon.
We experienced very friendly service and really enjoyed the Vineyards Cottage - everything we needed. The location was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle and we were surrounded by exceptional natural beauty that stretched as far as the eye could see. We will definitely return again. The beds were also very comfortable - we slept like rocks!
We couldn't have asked for better! We were in Paarl for a wedding at Zonnevanger Venue, which was only 5 minutes down the road. Everything at Oude Denneboom was just perfect, from the indoor barbecue on the cold Thursday evening, to the outdoor boma barbecue on the sunny Saturday afternoon, from the early morning mist over the vineyards to the late nights with red wine in front of the fireplace, from waking up to wildebeest under the tree outside the bedroom window, to the moose walking past in the late afternoon. Feel very blessed that we were able to experience this piece of heaven!
What a breathtakingly beautiful place! Tastefully furnished. Absolutely the feeling of farm. Bedding was crisp. Everything is there that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A decidedly delicious lazy hangout with the bonus of lovely wildlife to enjoy.

Oude Denneboom is so well and neatly equipped and meets all your needs. We were received very kindly. Elizabeth and Willem are very hospitable. The cottages are very private. The animals roaming freely only added to the wonderful farm feel. We will definitely visit this farm again.
Willem was a very pleasant host. The farm was nice and quiet and close enough if you want to go to town.
It is the best place ever.
We hired both chalets as our whole family were together - 3 generations. Chalets are simply and tastefully furnished, very comfortable and well equipped. Willem and staff friendly and helpful. Inside braais as well as fire pits are provided at each chalet. The swimming pool is shared by all 3 chalets. The setting amidst the vineyards is beautiful, very quiet, peaceful with lots of bird life. Paarl and the winelands are close by. We had a very happy stay.
Oude Denneboom is a great place for both family and personal time outs. Willem is a great guy, friendly and most welcoming. I think that's one of the things that keeps me going back.

Cottage had everything one would need and very clean. Host Willem very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay between the vineyards and wild animals.
We had a lovely stay at Oude Denneboom. The cottages spoke of good taste and we enjoyed all the little special touches. Crisp linen and well laid-out amenities added to the comfort. We enjoyed relaxing walks in the vineyard and sample the wind and olive oil. All in all wonderful and to be recommended.
Kitchen was big. Only the splash pool was a bit small and very cold. As it is on a farm there were lots of flies. A good flyswatter would be very useful. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Willem even showed us how they pick the grapes.

I recommend a week at this place, at the least. Everything is clean and well-equipped. The wine that was available at a fair price in the cottage was a nice touch. The fireplace is the best feature. Since there was no TV available we had some quality family time by the fire. Picturesque views.

What a beautiful place! The house is beautiful and tasteful inside, with everything you need. There are windows all around so you can enjoy the endless scenery outside all the time. You can even sometimes see some of the animals walking by! We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay away from all the noise of the city/town. The wildlife was a nice bonus. For a family it is also the ideal place to stay because the children can play outside.
Our stay at Oude Denneboom was truly unforgettable. The cottage is very comfortable and fully equipped, and their attention to detail is exceptional. It was the perfect, peaceful accommodation from which to explore Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl, and we could come home in the evening, sit under the stars and drink a glass of local wine by a fire or by the pool. The experience of walking around the reserve and seeing the animals that come up to the cottage was really special. Will definitely visit again and next time bring our families to share the experience with them!
The stay at Oude Denneboom was top notch. Our little children were very pleased with the animals that roamed there. The tranquility of the surroundings recharged the batteries nicely. Oude Deneboom will surely see us again.
5-star accommodation among the vineyards with game on your doorstep. Very neat and spacious unit. Well maintained and practically furnished. Location is about 12 km from Paarl, but still easily accessible. We will visit again!
It's a nice place to stay.
Great place to rest after a day out in the Cape. However, cottages need some maintenance, especially the walls. Can also be cleaned more intensively especially tiles, showers and roofs from cobwebs. Will definitely visit there again!
We stayed for three nights and hope to visit Oude Denneboom again.
For any person looking for tranquility, quality time with family and friends, this is the right place. There is no television. This forced our teenagers to visit and talk around the fireplace with us every night, even they didn't miss the television anymore after the first night's fun. This place does not stop at luxury and we were impressed with everything that was available to us! Then something that money cannot buy is the wonderful view of the mountains, the road we had to drive every day winding through the vineyards, the moose, zebras and blue wildebeest that came to our cottage every morning. No money in the world can buy that! One word for our experience: Unforgettable!
Very peaceful and lovely space for the children to ride bikes and play. Every day we saw some wildlife very close to the accommodation and had a lovely walk between the vineyards. We will definitely stay there again!
Oude Denneboom was an awesome and wonderful experience. The farm and wildlife are very relaxing and the geographic location is basically in the middle of the Boland, so there are places galore to explore.
The accommodation was safe and well equipped. We got the most beautiful bunch of roses from the hostess! The bonus was the pool where we could cool off with the most beautiful view. The tranquility and wildlife grazing around the house was beautiful and our batteries were charged. Wish we could stay longer; would love to visit again.

The host was particularly friendly and very helpful. Lots of wood was often brought because it was very cold and we had a fire for four days straight! The place is very nicely equipped with good kitchenware, linen, etc. This is a class place.
