Very friendly reception and guests are looked after. There is a specially furnished room on the ground floor instead of upstairs. My husband had a hip replacement and has trouble climbing stairs. Bravo to the owners. Slept well.
Quiet souls rest for any sad heart. The silence and tranquility is fantastic. Maybe we were just lucky, farm feeling, going for a walk past sheep on the farm road. It was very good for us. Silence did the trick.

Very cute place, lovely coffee shop with the most delicious "brownies". Unfortunately there was no information booklet with WiFi password in my room and Netflix did not work. Which I already addressed in the afternoon when the TV wouldn't work. I was at a wedding and was disappointed when I arrived just after 10pm and had no Netflix or WiFi. Sent a message that wasn't answered until half past 9 the next morning. Was almost on my way out.
Takes one back to old farm-type holidays! The rooms are old-fashioned but neat. Afrikaans Boere hospitality. The young lady who runs the coffee shop is professional and friendly. Breakfast is of good value! Would definitely recommend to families and couples looking for a short pleasant stay. Only one thing I suggest is to bring your own rusks or biscuits and milk as they are not provided. However, good cappuccino mixes, tea, and coffee are provided in the rooms!
Our stay at Diamond Valley was short as we only slept there after attending a wedding, but it was more than enough. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. One small suggestion would be to perhaps consider small "bar fridges" in the rooms for when guests might want to keep milk, water and other things cold. We will definitely visit there again if we are in the area.

Hidden gem just outside the city.
Complete peace and quiet, breakfast was delicious. I am so glad I opted to book that. The homemade bread - I was so thrilled when Lalie walked through the door with that! Lalie was superb, really sweet, accommodating and efficient. The guest house is beautiful, the rooms and bathroom lovely. Scenery brought calm. Everything was in place and pristine.

The rooms were very neat. Hostess was helpful and friendly.
We slept wonderfully - and when we came in late at night we were surprised with a fireplace and a nice fresh pot of coffee. We had a lovely time around the fireplace before going to sleep. Bathrooms are very nice.
Thoroughly wash your pillows and linen. Amber room's mattress has a horrible odor. I couldn't stand it. Had booked 2 rooms.
The hostess was very friendly and went out of her way to be of service to us. Will stay there again for sure.
It was safe and nice. The only shortcoming was that it was very hot in the room. No fan or aircon. The small fan and heater didn't help at all.
