Very neat and clean accommodation, with very friendly service!
Fantastic, with the most helpful hostess.
It is a beautiful place, such great service, will definitely be going back. The only issue is that the location/pin drop takes you to a gate of the farm that is not accessible.
Stay at Diamond Creek Bush Lodge was great. The host was very friendly and helpful, came to check on us every morning. Beautiful place and surroundings. We will definitely be back.
Had a great time! Just too short. Already planning our next visit.
The accommodation is perfect for people who break away in groups or just as a family. Lovely scenery and tranquility. Rooms are very neat and clean.
Very nice stay. Neat, clean and comfortable. Neat gardens. Friendly people.
Neat rooms, just comfortable bed.
Rooms and kitchen were beautiful and clean. Beds are comfortable and the place is serviced. There is, however, no hot water in the kitchen. The place is very much designed for big groups, so it is slightly awkward to share the communal area with strangers if you only book two rooms like we did. The swimming pool is a hazard with small children, but we managed fine. Decor is beautiful and the owner is very friendly and helpful.
It was very peaceful and quiet. Met good people there who were visiting at the same time. All the facilities were clean and very tidy.
What a beautiful place. Friendly staff and clean, and everything tidy.
We were guests at a wedding in the area. Diamond Creek was the perfect place to stay - the gardens are beautiful, the rooms' decor stylish and everything is spotless.
Beautiful place and we felt very welcome. Was very happy that we could go look at the wildlife with our own vehicle. The togetherness around the fire and joint kitchen was very cozy. Good service and helpfulness, friendliness of the workers. I would recommend the lodge to anyone. Lovely, peaceful atmosphere.
Will stay there again. Received very good service.
Very nice stay! The lodge also lends itself perfectly to inviting a few friends or family along and booking the entire lodge. There is a beautiful communal kitchen/reception area and a communal large bar and indoor braai area. Maybe just for the coffee addicts among us, a coffee station/kettle in the chalet.
Diamond Creek Bush Lodge is very clean and the staff are really helpful.
Diamond Creek was literally a breath of fresh air. So now I'm home and I feel nostalgic. What felt like home for 2 days. came to and end. This is pretty much an oasis in the middle of nowhere. The lodge is nothing less than immaculate. The decor was superb, giving a very relaxing and welcoming vibe! The maintenance and upkeep needs to be commended-not a single thing out of place! The communal kitchen has absolutely everything appliance wise, cutlery, etc etc etc. Wish it was mine. We had rainy weather for two days but we still enjoyed it very much and made use of everything the lodge had to offer. We even went for a game drive in my little Kia at night. The second morning we went on a lovely trail walk. Esther the hostess was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Thank you till we meet again.
From the time I picked up the key at the slaughterhouse, I was completely on my own for two days. You have to find the lodge yourself, open and close the gates yourself (while it's raining hard) and find the right chalet where you want to stay. No instructions or directions anywhere. For a self-catering chalet at R1000/night you expect at least cutlery, plates, kettle etc in the room, but only found out a day later from the neighbors there is only one kitchen you have to share, in Covid -time and while it's raining hard? Website talks about braai facilities at each chalet, there is only common one for all chalets. Room was tidy, but also had no fans in it which could have helped with the 38-40°C heat experienced. No leaflets or anything in the room that at least tells you where you can go for a walk or drive around the park. You have a bed and a roof over your head, but that's it. Thank goodness there was at least hot water for showering.
Staff are very helpful and efficient.
Diamond Creek Bush Lodge is a beautiful and peaceful place. We were lucky enough to be the only guests, so we had the entire lodge to ourselves. Cameron, our host, was very helpful and friendly. The place was very nice, neat and clean and we can definitely recommend it!
We were very impressed with Diamond Creek Bush Lodge. The place was very neat and clean. We also saw an awful lot of wildlife around the lodge. I would recommend this place for sure! All the arrangements were given to us in advance, thank you very much! We will definitely visit them again soon!
The place was neat and clean, enjoyed the wild around there as well.
Very tidy, well equipped with everything we needed and relaxed atmosphere. We were kindly received and immediately felt at home. The staff went out of their way to take care of everything. We will definitely go back again. Thank you very much!
Fantastic arrangements in advance by Esther, as was the reception - thank you very much. Comfortable, quiet, delicious in the forest and the delicious game drive on the way to the accommodation and back to the gate was soul food! We will definitely stay at Diamond Creek Bush Lodge again when we are in Naboomspruit again. We won't even bother to look for other accommodation.
Kobus was a great host.
It is an unbelievably beautiful place if you like nature, and the best thing is that you can take your vehicle or walk to view game. It is also very peaceful and very safe.
A nice forest experience with a forest where friends can hang out. Comfortable lapa and kitchen with some basic necessities. Staff who clean every day were very friendly and helpful. Cell phone signal is limited, but we expected that. Wonderful butcher shop on the farm!
The dam was dry, which I did not expect at all. There where spider webs everywhere in the room, found insect droppings under my pillow. Did not get to go on a game drive as the lady had promised. I was really disappointed.
Pleasant stay, friendly staff. Clean and tidy and very peaceful. Highly recommended.
The lodge was clean and tidy. But blankets weren't provided. We were under the impression that there would at least be coffee, tea and water in the unit. But there wasn't any. It was a great disappointment, because we would've wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio. The duvet was also very thin, we slept cold and there weren't any extra blankets.
Thank you! The staff were friendly and cleaned well. The rooms are neat and sufficient. Clean pool. Great braai en large kitchen. Tranquil atmosphere and lots of animals to see. We do believe and hope that it would be even better once the dam has water.
Ideal for a family get-together.
Very nice lodge that is well furnished. Very nice experience. Good amenities and barbecue facilities. Definitely worth a visit.
Overall a good experience. I must say that the venue is more suited to a group rather than individuals having to share a small facility. Luckily, I was able to enjoy the Lodge without having to share. What a pleasure it was to be there under these circumstances. Bird-life on the farm is fantastic!
We enjoyed accommodation, shared kitchen fully equipped, although disappointment was that the pond was empty.
Nice, neat and quiet. However, was very hot and therefore could not sleep well. An air conditioner would be very welcome. The kitchen light didn't work and a microwave would come in handy. The TV channels are very meager. Could at least add sports (not soccer).
The house we stayed in was clean and tidy. The lack of a kitchen is certainly not ideal. At least you can make your own coffee, but only during the day because there was no light in the "kitchen" to see what you were doing late at night or early in the morning. We couldn't get the front door locked from the inside or the outside, something that gives us security-conscious urbanites sleepless nights. You can drive through the relatively small game camps and look at the goats, of which there is a fair variety of small game. Exotic black impalas and golden wildebeest and even one white (baldbuck?) can be seen.
We were looking for a place not too far from Polokwane and between golf courses. This was the perfect address, as a bonus there are 2 ponds that attract lots of birds and create atmosphere, take your mountain bike, fishing poles and golf clubs, there is plenty to do. I would suggest that you go as 2 couples because then you can book a whole unit, 2 rooms facing each other under one roof, the rooms are big enough inside with bathroom.
Diamond Creek is perfect for everyone, it's close, beautiful, peaceful and a special getaway. The owners are helpful and so are their staff. It felt like I had been there for a long time. We will definitely visit again!
The person who welcomed me, Esther, is very nice. Thank you.
It is very calm and peaceful at the lodge, had a great rest. The facilities are very clean and tidy. Along with the communal kitchen, lapa and boma, all the facilities one could want for braai and any other dishes are available. The maintenance on site is of a high standard, everything is clean and very tidy. The item that caught my attention and definitely met my expectations was the nice pond/swamp and all the waterfowl and other animals that come to drink water. It gives a great feeling of peace and tranquility. Nice field paths to walk and stretch your legs a bit.
Directions were given well and easy to find the place. Friendly service upon arrival. The accommodation was more than expected and so was the scenery with all the wonderful birds. The place was kept pretty clean and we enjoyed a walk in the camp!
We enjoyed relaxing and appreciated the quietness. Would definitely book a weekend there again and next time take some family along. Thank you for the quick response to my text messages.
Excellent value for money. Would like firewood from Diamond Creek for boma.
The house we stayed in was nice and clean, everything in its place, and very spacious and big enough for a family. The owner was very pleasant and I would recommend anyone to stay there. It's quiet and very safe, and value for money. Saw a lot of wild animals and really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.
Beautiful place. 10 out of 10!
Very neat and clean. Cleaned and kept neat every day. Felt very safe. Place has a well-equipped kitchen shared with other chalets and had no problem with items that were not available. Communal braai at boma. If it's a big group that travels together, it's not a problem. In smaller groups or singles, single-braaiers at each lapa may be needed so you can braai and socialise on your own.
Very pleasant reception and very cute place, especially to use as a family gathering. If I could make any negative comments I would mention that the swimming pool was not usable, but considering that it was not yet summer season, it was not a problem for us. Very pleasant stay which I would recommend to anyone.
Will definitely recommend Diamond Creek Bush Lodge. We were a large group of 17 adults and 6 small children. The chalets are well-furnished, beautifully decorated and well-kept. The kitchen and bar area are also lovely and have everything you need and more. The boma and braai facilities are great and we enjoyed the campfire but had to take our own wood because the smaller wooden bags that were available at the butchery and in the village could not make a nice fire and it was very cold in the evenings. We would have liked to watch the rugby, but the DStv decoder was out of order. Would also would have liked to do a game drive, but couldn't the specific weekend because new game was delivered and we were not referred to another farm where we could have gone for a game drive. The cleaners were very helpful and kept the kitchen area neat and clean all day long. The children also had a good time fishing.
Very nice place to just relax and recharge batteries. Beautiful green lawns and well maintained resort. It is worth buying meat from the butcher on the farm. Excellent quality at good prices. We had a great time here and would stay here again anytime. The place will also work very well for groups of friends or family who want to visit together for the weekend.
It was nice!
The lodge is well equipped and share a kitchen. Therefore it would be better to book all the units if you'd like to have some privacy.
Had to make do with what we had.
The stay was really worth it. Chalets were neat and cleaned every day. No braai facilities at individual chalets, would be handy especially when you are not there in a group. Would also like to see that there was wood provided to be able to make a fire at the boma, only seen late in the evening you have to provide it yourself.
