The place is very nice, but doesn't live up to expectations. Guest are expected to use the same linen for the duration of their stay. Rooms are not cleaned, had to do it ourselves.
We received a warm welcome even though it was already 19:00 in the evening. It is neat with everything that you'll need. It's a beautiful area, but because we had to leave at 05:30 for karate and only got back at 19:00, we only saw the next morning how beautiful it actually is. It didn't bother us that there wasn't a TV, because there wasn't any time to watch TV. It might bother someone else though. Will definitely stay there again when we come to the SA Karate Competition. It is a very tranquil area with no traffic noise.
Friendly service, helpful and place is very neat. The rooms are serviced every day. Clean towels every day. Braai facilities are neat and clean. Quiet surroundings and secure parking.

We checked in late and the host made effort to welcome us by supplying us with refreshments. The room was very clean and comfortable but the furniture needs some attention. The fellow guests were very loud and the rooms are not very sound proof. Somebody else has control over the DStv remote. Channels keep on changing while you are watching something. The swimming pool area was left littered by other guests since we arrived on Friday and by Sunday the bottles and cans were still laying on and around the tables. Parking space should be allocated, space is limited and we did not know if we were using someone else's parking space, worrying the whole time that the car will be damaged.
The accommodation is advertised as luxury, but it doesn't even have curtains or blinds in front of the windows, only lace curtains! Furniture is old and worn. Not really worth the money.
Best value for money, we enjoy the accommodation at Didiloni every time.

Being 3 students on a party trip, we did not have much expectations although being student in the hospitality industry. However, we did receive a warm welcome and assistance with our early check in. It was a very pleasant 3 nights until we were asked to move another chalet as our rooms were double booked. We agreed as we were told that it is more private and accommodating for the 3 of us. I was upset when I arrived at the room and the chalet was not set and bathing towels and toilet paper weren't available to us as well as ants being infested in the drawers all over cutlery and crockery. Apart from being moved and neglected on my last night at the lodge, my friends and I had a good stay.
We stayed 3 nights at Didiloni Lodge. We were very warmly received by the hostess. Meals were ordered and delivered to our door. You could ask anything, the hostess was always ready for us, despite the busyness of the renovation of the apartment. If we go to Johannesburg again, we will definitely come back.
Friendly staff and management, clean rooms and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The bedroom is without light or ventilation. There is no space around the bed.
