Our stay at this beachfront accommodation was truly exceptional. The highlight was without a doubt the beautiful sea view that greeted us every morning—a peaceful and picturesque panorama that made our stay unforgettable. The accommodation itself was a perfect blend of comfort and style. Both the indoor and outdoor barbeque facilities were of high quality, enabling us to enjoy barbeques in comfort regardless of the weather. Whether we were cooking indoors while cozying up to the fireplace or enjoying the fresh sea breeze outside, the setup was ideal for our needs. The beds were of excellent quality, and the winter cover and pillowcases provided a warm and cozy refuge from the cold weather. It was clear that attention had been paid to a comfortable and restful sleeping experience, which made our winter stay much more enjoyable. Our host was incredibly helpful and did everything he could to support us. His friendly attitude and helpful nature really enhanced our stay. His help and local knowledge was invaluable, and his willingness to make sure everything was perfect certainly did not go unnoticed.

Baai's place is lovely and characterfully furnished and one of the closest places to stay to the sea. Nice and spacious, quiet and nice that dogs can also be allowed.
Die Baie se Bek's owner is the best host we have ever experienced. He is concerned with every finer point. We had a great time and slept great. The shower was also nice and big and the hot water works great. Hondeklipbaai's people welcomed us with open arms and everyone we dealt with was so friendly and wanted to be helpful with everything. The 5 nights and 6 days we stayed there, every day was an experience we had never had before. We once got stuck in a turning lane that a normal vehicle shouldn't take. We could walk back until we received a signal to call for help. Within 5 minutes there was a very friendly man there to rope us out of the sand. Hondeklip Bay has only made us much more grateful for the comfort and luxury in which we live on a daily basis. Those people are satisfied with so little and earthly things do not matter to them like we have become so used to.

Without many luxury things, but a great time! When the sun goes down and you have a clean bed and a hot shower, it's absolutely value for money. WiFi was not nice.

We were pleasantly surprised with Die Baai se Bek and were very kindly welcomed by the hostess. The place is very neat and everything you need is available. It is very well located and is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. I can definitely recommend Die Rooi Spinnekop restaurant.
Baai Se Bek is set in the perfect location, just meters from the sea and a short drive to Namaqua Park. Ina was a great host, and the place was neat, clean, and well-equipped with everything you could need. A truly magical stay, and I would definitely consider returning and recommending it to friends.

All the facilities you need for self-catering. Gas stove, braai area inside, gas hot water heater, nice clean and comfortable beds. Unfortunately we could not do laundry there due to water shortage and a lot of trouble with internet reception.

This is really a very nice place to visit if you have a 4x4 and love very rough dirt roads. I didn't love the bathroom being outside. I was afraid to go to the bathroom in the dark in the evenings. But don't get me wrong, this place just wasn't for us. This is a piece of hidden gem. It is an incredibly beautiful place to visit. So if you like silence, dirt roads and are not afraid of the dark, you should definitely pay a visit here. It is incredibly beautiful here and we met the most wonderful people.

This was a good place to be, though the road coming into and out can be very tricky. The network problem inconvenienced us, but other than that it was worth going to.
It's a strange setup with outside rooms, but it was clean and safe. If you are used to luxuries, this is going to be difficult for you. The sofa and easy chair are worn and therefore uncomfortable. Hot water in the bathroom at the sink is a problem.
The ideal place for a break and to clear your head. The pristine beauty of the nearby beaches is definitely worth seeing and taking lots of photos. There are also braai places near the Aristea Shipwreck. Pack a cooler or picnic basket and go enjoy the day without being around people all the time. Would highly recommend for those looking for tranquility - no overcrowded hangouts, deafening music and packed beaches. Perfection! Die Baai se Bek is located in the perfect place, neat and clean. Indoor and outdoor barbecue areas. Plekkie is fully equipped with enough space in the living room, bedroom and bathroom as well as a stone's throw from the beach and Dop en Kreef Restaurant. Ina and Mynerd were friendly, helpful and hospitable. It was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of waves outside your place of residence. The best place to stay in Hondeklip Bay! Will visit again anytime, but will make sure to stay longer.

One must approach Hondeklip Bay with the right attitude. If you have it, feel free to stay at Die Baai se Bek and you won't regret it. Comfortable & neat. Forget about TV, internet and take enough firewood with you. We will definitely do so again.

This is a lovely wooden house just meters from the sea. Beautiful view with beautiful people who live in the village. We were six people and the house was more than comfortable. The bay's mouth is by far the best holiday home in Hondeklip Bay. We will definitely want to go back again.

We stay at Baai se Bek in Hondeklip for two nights. The hist was really helpful and even arrange for the restaurant to open and provide dinner during load shedding. The place was neat and tidy and all you would really want in Hondeklip.

This is one of the cutest places we have ever stayed. The way the house is built and decorated is fantastic, it gives you a holiday feeling. We were there with our 2 year old daughter, she had so much fun playing there. All the people are friendly and helpful. We will stay there again soon.

After what felt like an interminable journey on a horrendous dirt road (we were in a normal car), Hondeklipbaai presented itself as an oasis where we could rest and get away from the bustle of the city. The accommodation was well appointed and neat. Although the bathroom could use a bit of TLC! Our hostess, Ina, was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable on the area. We will definitely return.

You can get quite worried when you drive into town, but I have to say that our choice of Baai se Bek was clearly the right one. Sorry we couldn't stay longer. Will definitely consider it again.

We had a great stay and enjoyed Hondeklip Bay. However, the accommodation is not described correctly and in full detail on the website, and we were lucky to be able to get the adjoining apartment instead, which worked much better for us.

Place is neat and clean with everything you need, just a few steps from the sea. Indoor and outdoor barbecue area with nice veranda overlooking the bay. Meinert received us kindly and was very helpful. Many interesting books in his collection in the cottage. Positive stay experience.
With the inclement weather, we were moved to a different room configuration (the room, bathroom and kitchen area are separate) where there is an indoor braai, which we appreciate. Unfortunately the place needs maintenance. It's a wooden structure, most of whose windows don't open (not that we needed them), because falling apart It is tied with 'tie backs'. The doors don't close properly and I woke up in the night where my husband got up to watch TV and the wind blew the door wide open. Everywhere between the wood the wind comes in.
What a disappointment. Accommodation was definitely not value for money. Towels very old. Sheets definitely need replacement - old and washed out. Accommodation was very full of dust etc. Shower cracked inside, leaking all the time. Definitely will not recommend or go again. You can only pay cash at accommodation.

What a friendly, clean and tidy place. Hondeklipbaai was just a complete fairytale and totally different from what we're used to. Not only Bek se Baai, but all the residents we came into contact with were open and friendly. It is a must for travelers. It's a very neat place conveniently appointed. The fact that you can see the spectacular West Coast sunset from the sidewalk or walk around the corner and be on the beach or at a restaurants makes it extremely special and ideally located.

We were warmly received, everything was neat, clean and available and on top of that we were given a "things-to-do" in Hondeklip Bay upon our arrival. The kitchen is also well equipped with everything you need. A wonderful stoepie with a nice view of the beach and sea, which is also within walking distance. Hondeklipbaai is too beautiful! The Baia Se Bek is nicely rested, very clean and tidy. The dirt road from Garies is badly corrugated iron, but there is a second turn off which is mostly tarmac.

It is a nice place to stay with a group of people. We were the only people staying there, but the place is equipped with a common living area that is shared between guests. Our room was neat and comfortable and we slept very well. There is no bathroom attached to the rooms, one has to go outside and go to the bathroom next door. But it is a pleasant place to stay!
