Lovely cottage, well equipped but can recommend they include a toaster too. The pond with geese is beautiful and calming. The service at the restaurant and farm stall is also good. The location is unfortunately not great as you are right next to the main road and train track and it is quite noisy, all hours of the day. For us it was fine, but someone who is sensitive to noise will not enjoy it there.
We stayed in both cottages and they were very clean and comfortable. The farm stall next door is really nice. The cottages have a great view of the pond with its ducks and geese, but they are situated next to the main road to Wolseley, so there is a fair amount of traffic noise. Some geese quarrelled with one another at times during the night, but they are otherwise full of character! Another large group must have stayed before us and some items were still mixed up - both bench tables were outside one cottage, and all the forks were in one kitchen. It would be great to have fresh milk (not coffee creamer) and at least Nescafe rather than Ricoffy (even better, real coffee and a plunger), and a toaster.
Definitely worth it. Inside, the house is beautifully furnished with everything very neat and tasteful. Thoroughly enjoyed the ducks' chatter.

Die Boord is a really nice place to reboot and spend quality time with your partner. The geese also compliment the atmosphere perfectly.
Value for money, we really enjoyed it.
It was very convenient with the restaurant nearby. Die Boord is also located very close to Adene's Flower Market where we wanted to go to the market day. Everything was very neat and the farm atmosphere is very peaceful.
Would definitely recommend a pool for the kids to splash around in. We felt safe and relaxed, we visited the little dorpies and surrounding wine farms which was a blissful experience. Thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality. We're definitely coming again. The geese definitely kept us entertained.
Enjoyed a very pleasant stay.
We really enjoyed the two days/nights. The place is beautiful, neat and modernly equipped. The geese and ducks are cute and like to hang out together. View of the dam is very beautiful. Well next to a busy road, but the noise was not of such a nature that it bothered us. The breakfast at the restaurant was a hit. The only complaint I have is that the WiFi reception was not good at all and was constantly down. We were also promised the unit with more sun as we requested, but it was not given on arrival. It is near the town. We would love to visit again.
Lovely quality bedding and nice beds. The toilet was not fresh and clean when we arrived. Someone didn't flush the toilet paper, generally the place felt a bit not clean enough. Bedding was clean. Couch in lounge not very comfortable. Not many cooking appliances available, perhaps not for people who want to eat in. One-ply toilet paper for the price per night is not so cool. Water off during loadshedding or low pressure was a bit inconvenient.
When we read the description of the stat, we expected a peaceful location. It was amazing though, just literally being next to a busy main road wasn't mentioned. I was looking forward to a mountain/trail run but there are no routes to even try attempting. Kitchen is very basic. So let the guests know what they need. Drying cloths and washing lappies etc. We loved the little ducks that quack around and help you relax, my baby was very entertained by them.

We had a lovely time! Friendly and helpful staff. One plus point is the fact that the farmstall restaurant is in walking distance. A big thank you to everybody who helped to change my car's flat tyre! We can highly recommend Die Boord to those planning to visit the Wolseley area.
On arrival we were so well welcomed and the unit very luxurious and safe. Geese and ducks also welcomed us and came to chat when you sit and drink your coffee on the porch.
Lovely peaceful farm atmosphere. Enjoy every moment! Stay at Die Boord exceeded every expectation. The pond is quite close to the cottages, so parents should keep an eye out at all times. We were even able to take our dachshund with us and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Thank you very much!
Very neat and very clean. Everyone is also very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is conveniently close and offers everything you need for a nice visit. We even got firewood that we could use on Sunday! Unfortunately, the accommodation is on a busy road and may be disturbing, but it also provides easy access if one has to travel for work or wants to do sightseeing.

Location and setting is beautiful. Cottage is great, well-fitted and comprises everything you could need. There is an abundance of ducks and geese which is beautiful to wake up to. I could just recommend that the geese droppings are cleaned up or a cordoned-off path from cottages to restaurants is provided as walking on the grass is challenging and a small child cannot play on the grass as it's covered in geese droppings.
The stay at Die Boord was amazing. The cottage is extremely immaculateness. Modern finishes. I was impressed with the security and security guard was always visible at night. The place is beautiful inside and outside. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to book.
We had such a great stay! Units are beautiful and clean - everything you could need is there! So much to do for kids! If I can just give anyone going to stay there a heads up - the units are quite close to the road and to the restaurant on the property, it didn't bother us - but for people looking for a quiet and private stay, this might be a problem. Thank you Die Boord team, the kids had a blast!
