We had a nice stay. Friendly people and good food. Clean and tidy.
We had to stay 1 night to attend a wedding. All we regret is that we didn't have a chance to experience the restaurant, it just looks nice there. The light meals we quickly enjoyed in the room were very tasty and well prepared.

We were at Galagos Country Estate for a wedding and only spent the night at the forest kitchen but it was very nice.
Nice for a quick overnight, nice people.
Firstly, when we got there they were not expecting us and we had to wait in the car until while they prepared a cottage. The second thing was the kettle that was so dirty inside we couldn't even make a cup of coffee in the morning when we left at 6 (photo as proof). On the one side of the bed there was a screw standing out so high that it cuts your feet open. The small passage from the carpark to the cottage is so dark that you are afraid to fall. No light except a small solar light so big as a 5 rand coin. The steps to the door of cottage so broken, an old lady as myself struggles to find a way up. Trees at carpark so low it scratches the roof of your car. All in all a terrible experience. If it wasn’t that I’d already paid, I would have looked for other accommodation. Not a 3 star experience at all, because, to top it all off, there is no TV in the room. There is also no signal for cell phones. I left 6 am in the morning and only got back between 9 and 10 pm, so couldn't discuss review with owner.
The place to stay is neat and the service is one of the best, will stay there again.

Clean, neat and modern wooden house among long trees and very affordable. Just a bit dark at night because there is no lighting between the houses and the lightbulbs aren't the best. Otherwise has a good rest. Thanks.
Room has no TV, table or chair, small fridge, heating or cupboard to put your clothes. Room is freezing cold. The step to the door of the room is only on loose bricks and I almost fell when I stepped on it in the dark.
All inquiries were dealt with quickly and with ease. Renee was very helpful and accepted changes in our booking without any problem. The group was pleasantly surprised with the menu at the restaurant. Portions were large, well prepared and affordable. The living units can be improved by perhaps adding more seats/chairs on the veranda and the standing fans need attention. The rest of the residential unit offers sufficient comfort for the price paid.
Slept very peacefully with the silence and darkness. Would recommend dark curtains if you want to lie down a little later.
We were at a wedding near The Forest Kitchen. Als was nice, clean and comfortable. Nicest bed. Didn't want to get up. Lady who received us was very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again in the future.

The afternoons are hot and there are no fans in the room. There is no place to hang clothes. During our check-in there were other guests also attending a wedding like us and these are the type of clothes that need hanging when you check-in.
