The accommodation is very friendly and helpful. Very nice stay and was close to the hall where the competition was. The apartment is well equipped and we lacked nothing. I would recommend the place anytime to anyone traveling.

Hennie made sure that our dog children could have a good stay, braai facilities and other small requests were immediately addressed. The unit was spacious, open plan with separate bedrooms. Beds are top quality. All kitchen items were there. Gas stove and lamps if the power goes out (Eskom, of course). Very centrally located.

The two bedroom apartment is very neat and well equipped. There is a small piece of grass in front of the porch which makes it very comfortable and peaceful to sit on the porch and drink tea. The furniture is neat and comfortable. The apartment was spotless and fresh when we walked in. The curtains are beautiful and neat. The gas stove is great when load shedding leaves the entire area dark and powerless. The apartment has many closets that make long-term stays very comfortable. Hennie's two white Boerboels are very friendly with guests, but keep all unwanted and uninvited visitors away! We felt completely safe at Die Dekkers. I can recommend Die Dekkers. Although not 5-star luxury, our experience of homely, comfortable accommodation was six-star! Part of the positive experience is Hennie, the host. Hennie is a remarkable person. Getting to know him was a special privilege. Thank you very much, Hennie. You made a very difficult time fun for us. May you and your family be blessed and spoiled with His presence.

Lovely clean comfortable accommodation, well equipped unit with everything you could need. Excellent central location to everywhere we needed to go, very close to Carnival Shopping Centre as well as Carnival City. Hennie was a very friendly, caring and attentive host. We originally booked Flat 1, but on arrival was given a choice between Flat 2 and Flat 5. We chose Flat 2, which is more spacious but attached to Flat 1. The walls were so thin, we could hear every single sound coming from the very noisy couple in Flat 1. Thankfully they were only there for one night of our stay. There's also a crèche directly next to Flat 2. So perhaps a better option staying in Flat 5 if you'd like more peace and quiet.

It was a lovely evening's stay with the owner, Hennie Dekker, who really went the extra mile for us! His concern for us in the wet conditions at Carnival City was heartwarming!
The owners were very friendly and pleasant and also helpful without being intrusive. Our time there was very short, but in the time we were there, nothing was lacking and there was everything we needed for the time we were there. I will certainly use their service again if I am ever in that area again.
