59 guests' feedbackMy husband and my mother stayed here while my father was in hospital. They report that the stay was nice, but the place has some quirks. The door to the bedroom can't close. The shower is in the kitchen. The curtains do not block out the light from outside at night, resulting in a very bright room to sleep in. Cutlery is lacking a bread knife. Apart from the quirks, an enjoyable stay.

Hein was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. The Duck is ideal for a short overnight stay with comfortable sleeping accommodation in a quiet environment. The kitchen is just right for preparing a quick meal. The premises are neat. There is a large swimming pool which is very well maintained and will be an absolute delight in the summer months. The Duck looks exactly like the photos on the web page. The WiFi details and other information are very clearly laid out and visible.
I would highly recommend Die Eend to anyone. The host, Hein, was friendly and welcoming, and the property is clean, spacious and safe. Attention to detail is spot on. Thank you, we definitely enjoyed our stay.

I would recommend Die Eend as 1st choice and best option for accommodation in Centurion. Hein is a host of thousands, especially for UNITAS hospital visitors who need to stay overnight. 5 minutes from UNITAS. No problem with daily load shedding. The WiFi has very good reception and even a radio in the room which makes you feel right at home if you are a radio listener. Large private self-catering apartment. The bedrooms and sleeping comfort are excellent and very safe and there is also covered parking for your vehicle. Full bathroom with a large bathtub. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Very nice, large living area and porch. Peaceful and beautiful garden and because Die Eend is pet friendly, this is a bonus.

The second bedroom's mattress has to be changed. It squeaks everytime you move on the bed. But the stay was wonderful.

The duck is located in a tree-rich yard and it was wonderful to hear birds in the morning instead of city noise. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you could need. The apartment was clean, very tidy, good value for money and comfortable. We also felt very safe and were close to restaurants and shopping centers. Hein greeted us kindly and we really felt at home there. We will definitely stay there again. I would recommend The Duck to anyone.

This guesthouse is one we stay at regularly, whenever in Pretoria or en-route. Price cannot be beaten. You have an entire two bedroom apartment with a pool and safe beautiful garden. Really quaint and quiet. Hein is the best host I have ever had the pleasure of staying with.
My husband had to be at Unitas Hospital and Die Eend was an obvious choice. The host is very helpful and made our accommodation as comfortable as possible. The place is nice and spacious and it doesn't feel like you're staying in a guest house. I would, however, replace the pillows in the room - I think it is time for new ones. Otherwise it was 100%.

The surrounding area does not look nice but once crossed the gate of the property you almost feel like there is nothing around. The property and the house is well-maintained, the hosts are very nice, and the house has everything you need and more! Will will surely come back!
