Lovely big shower, just dissapointing that the pressure wasn't great.
The service was top notch and the woman who helped us at reception was very friendly.
The heater on the wall and the electric blanket made the cold of the Highveld bearable for us Lowvelders. No load shedding for the town part is another advantage. For overnight stays, Die Groen Koei has everything you need to stay comfortably.
It's a nice place, just didn't have hot water, believe it's because load shedding.
Our stay was adequate and satisfactory. Clean room with shower facilities, sorry about the lot of cigarette butts on the table.

We dropped off luggage and went to a wedding where we returned late at night to find the fridge empty. There wasn't even water in it. The guest house is located on a coal truck route which makes the noise bad all night long. I will think twice before booking there again.

It was lovely and the place was nicely decorated although I would recommend that they pay attention to the fact that the shower is not cleaned properly, there were about cobwebs in the window, so you can tell that it hasn't been cleaned in a long time if it in each corner of the window. They can also clean the plaster clay on the floor well. The light in bathroom did not work. The remote control for the TV did not work. I had to get on a chair to turn on the TV.
Bathroom ceiling falling out. Shower as well as the bars in shower very dirty. Heavy traffic disturbs night's rest. No protection for vehicles during hailstorms. Premises untidy due to old roof sheets and other construction debris lying around.
