Die Heemhuis met our requirements. Beautiful "old fashioned" home, very clean with everything we needed.
Had a nice stay, slept and barbecued.
No complaints. Adequate.
Adriaan's service and communication was very good - excellent host. However, there are a few things that I just want to bring to their attention. There were no towels for the guests. The single beds in the large room upstairs are very lumbar. The floors creak terribly and the people sleeping below can hear all the movements above. The bed linen and house were immaculately clean, but I still think that it is expensive for what you get.

We can really recommend the stay. It's a pleasant home - neat and tasteful. The only problem is the creaking of the floor of the upper rooms - if you try to sleep downstairs. But that's just how our ancestors had to live!
The owner kept us updated with events, emails were sent on time and feedback happened quickly. The house is located centrally and we came a day early. All of the facilities are there and everyone is friendly - it feels like you have known them for years. The house is very neat and the antiques are beautiful.
The stay at Heemhuis was hospitable and comfortable. The house is tastefully furnished and effort has been made to accommodate an extra guest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would liked to have extended it. The house is quirky, very well equipped and has an amazing stoep for breakfasts or sun downers. It was like stepping back in time!
