Soaking in the jacuzzi with an ocean view, while watching and listening to the birds chirping was the highlight of our stay. It was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. It was cozy and warm inside on the cold nights, with everything we needed, even a TV. We will definitely recommend Die Kabin to our friends, as a perfect stopover destination between Cape Town and PE. Can't wait to visit again one day.

What a great experience. You feel like you are deep in the woods with no disturbance, only the beautiful birds you feed on your porch, the goats against the hump, the jacuzzi, two ways to make a fire outside. Beautiful colorful lights in the evening that color the trees/forest and even your smoke from the fire in a fairy tale world. The special place is a must to experience and absolute value for money.

Yes, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Die Kabin. The location is beautiful - nature is all around you and you feel part of it. The bird life is also particularly beautiful and it was wonderful to be able to get so close to them with the bird feeder that attracts them. The cabin was also particularly pleasant, with everything you need for a nice visit. It's neat, private and stylishly decorated. The owners received us very hospitably and were very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend Die Kabin to people who need a nice, quiet getaway. We will definitely visit there again.
Really a special place with the most beautiful view.
The accommodation was excellent with a beautiful natural view. Although you have to climb a few steps to the unit, it is nice and private and separate, with a view of the sea and nature, the green strip. Place very cute.

It was a lovely two days at the Cabin. Wow, the scenery is breathtaking and one can really just relax. We still wanted to go out to eat, but ended up having a barbecue both nights. It was lovely and well equipped. The jacuzzi works and looks really like in the pictures. We were also spoiled by and with sparkling wine and chocolate for our 25th anniversary.

I would recommend this place to anyone. The place is quiet and if you love nature like me you will love the place. we are definitely going back you can choose where to make a fire and the Jacuzzi is an awesome night-ender. We booked an extra night because we loved our stay and the hosts are lovely generous people.

I was looking for a place to take a break on my trip to the Cape. The Cabin had everything needed.
Thank you to Christelle and Christo for a lovely stay, I felt safe and very comfortable, and a special thank you to them for offering an extra two days' stay for construction work at a neighbouring property, they were so concerned that the noise would be an issue that they offered the extra days stay, and it was no issue whatsoever, had a lovely relaxing stay, and enjoyed the surroundings!
The scenery, view and bird sounds immediately relax you. Ensure a must-visit spot in Dana Bay. We had such a nice stay. Friendly service, private, tidy and all the necessary facilities to relax.

The cutest place in Mossel Bay.
The most beautiful nature view and sounds. The view of the sea from the veranda/jacuzzi is breathtaking. The little ones are so tame, sit and eat with you while you take in the view, as well as the chirp to which you wake up, the owl's sound just to indicate its presence in the area. The goats that roam freely and you can see them through the fence. The footpath/stairs between the pretty green garden on the way to the Cabin makes way for the fairly stylish path down to the vehicle entrance. It exceeded our expectations and no pictures or description can describe our incredibly nice experience.
Very peaceful and quiet (private). Equipped with everything needed. Clean and tidy. Outdoor pool (hot tub) is a winner!
From our arrival to departure it felt like we were staying in a private paradise. You don't even want to close the curtains because the sunrise is breathtaking and the view from the dining room and hot tub is directly on the sea. It was absolute peace of mind that my husband and I needed.
Although The Cabin is located in Dana Bay, one experiences a wonderful feeling of beautiful nature right around the Cabin. The owner treated us with respect and respected our privacy during the entire stay. Chris assisted us quickly upon our arrival to get our luggage to Die Kabin. The Cabin is spotless, everything is built with such taste and precision. We had a wonderful time among a large variety of birds, as well as bushbucks that came to visit every now and then. Thank you very much for a peaceful and well-deserved break. The Cabin is very highly recommended.

Baie rustig so naby die natuur. Weer was kouer as gewoonlik, so ons het heerlik jacuzzi op die stoep. My seun het buite op die stoep geslaap en dit baie geniet. Ons het werklik veilig gevoel en verkwik teruggekom!
My wife and I loved the simplicity of Die Kabin, the location and for sure the birds and the goats. It's like that in nature. Very calm. A piece of paradise for sure.
All I can say is that it is worth staying there. It's very neat, very clean and very private. It feels like a roller coaster when you drive in the gate and like a plane taking off when you drive out again (very exciting). Yes there are a few steps, nothing to complain about, but when you look at the garden with all the cute things you completely forget about the steps. Just want to say a big thank you to the owner for the stunning place and their kindness. See you again soon.

The most peaceful spot. You feel one with nature and has total privacy if you really need a total break.
The Jacuzzi with the view over the sea was the best. The birds, goats and owl that were right next to us were of course the icing on the cake. Everything you need in one small wooden house. The ramp was a bit of a challenge for me but I managed it! I lost my heart on Die Kabin.
As long the weather is nice, it's a great place, but if its cold or/and wet it's too small.
We really enjoyed the weekend at Die Kabin! It's so peaceful and quiet and the promise of lots of birds to see didn't disappoint. The house is nice and small and cuddly and the large sofa on the porch is ideal for a coffee and while you look at nature and then the jacuzzi is just the icing on the cake. We would love to stay here again.
Sitting in nature with a glass of wine, the birds listening to you and experiencing the silence of nature with the sea in the background ─ you can't put money on that. The Cabin offers the perfect package for loved ones who want to get away. 10/10 will definitely return again.

Steepness to parking and stairs to Cabin is a challenge for the younger generation but the location is just you and nature.
Romantic stay in the forest for just two people. There is quite a lot of steps down to the cabin, if you have a lot of luggage it is difficult. The descent down to the cabin with your vehicle is very stylish. Also no TV in the cabin.
Due to rain we could not barbecue. Not suitable for older people, a bit shabby. Kitchen inadequate. The bottom of the cabin is used as storage space for all kinds of rubbish.
The Cabin is a perfect place to experience everything in one. You are in nature with wild rabbits, antelopes, birds, mouse dogs and a sea view within a town, but you see no one else, no buildings and you walk to the sea. Your shop is just up the street. Ideal relaxing place. It is perfectly equipped with a lovely veranda.

The Cabin was clean and offered everything and more we could have needed for our romantic getaway weekend. Very peaceful but a little cramped. Especially due to the fact that everyone had to sleep in one room which was very uncomfortable. No privacy. Maybe not ideal for a family but rather for a young couple, friends or a single person.
