48 guests' feedbackWe had a lovely stay at Die Kraaltjie. Clean, comfortable, Netflix and jungle gym for the kids, braai for the parents. We will definitely recommend this for a family get away. Lots to do in the area. Zeelia was very friendly and made us feel at home.
Lovely stay in an excellent location.
Big trucks on the way kept us awake early. But beautiful place with everything you could need. Would have liked to stay longer.
What a pleasant experience. From the beginning Zeelia was quick to answer questions and also got in touch a day before we were due to arrive with confirmation as well as a pin drop on how to get to them. The treat of the delicious fruit from the farm as well as the bottle of wine was a pleasant surprise. The children had a great time playing on the climbing frame and in the sand. The wi-fi was also a lovely surprise as well as the connection with "Cast" function to the TV. The place is clean and practically laid out. There were even the mosquito nets that helped for sure! The place is wonderfully cool inside even though it's terribly hot outside! Loadshedding was bearable with the extra lights that were provided as well as a gas stove and kettle! Only small annoying aspects if you can call it that: 1. The Kraaltjie is located close to the road and therefore you hear the traffic quite clearly which can be quite disturbing if you sit outside. 2. The kitchen lacks a few items e.g. a cutting knife etc. 3. There is no running water when it is loadshedding, but one is supplied with water and so it is not such a big problem. It was wonderful and can certainly recommend Die Kraaltjie to anyone who wants to break away from the city.
Very spacious and value for money! Very neat!
Very nice stay. The cottage had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend.
Very nice place, very close to many wine farms. Has everything you will need. Will definitely stay there again.
The children really enjoyed it and there is everything you need to make your stay easier.
Everything was very neat and clean, Zeelia and her husband's hospitality was wonderful with a bottle of wine and box of fresh fruit that welcomed us. The fishing in the Breede River on the farm was a bonus.
We had a very nice time at Die Kraaltjie. Can't wait for our next visit. Will definitely recommend them.
It's beautiful. Will definitely go back again with the family.
The house is fully equipped and very tidy. The location is perfect. Will definitely use Die Kraaltjie again.
Ideally located to visit all the wine estates, along with mountain bike trails very close by.
Cute little house on a nice farm. Very neatly and comfortably furnished.
We stayed there with our children and grandchild. The cottage was very safe and child friendly. There's a lovely play area and piece of grass. It is well equipped and has everything one needs. Clean and neat. Close to Robertson town and lots of things to do.
We really had a great time with you. The place was clean and tidy and the indoor braai is great for the cold months. We also really enjoyed the wine farms that were so close.
A great place and a fabulous weekend. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The only downside was the amount of road traffic and noise but would happily go back for another visit.
The location is just right between all the wine farms in the Robertson area. The place itself is well furnished, and the people are very friendly. The only downside was that the wine farms were not yet fully open on Saturdays for wine sales due to the Covid-19 lockdown regulations. Will definitely visit there again, especially as soon as the wine farms can be open again on Saturdays.
The house is well equipped and neat and clean, stylishly furnished, and the playground for children is an asset. It is close to all the big wine farms and the town. It was nice to walk in the orchard and pick peaches yourself. Apart from the R317 which can be a bit noisy, we had a great time!
Please remember to bring your own water and toilet paper, shop 15 min away.
We planned to be 4 and then in the end it was just the two of us, it was so much fun we didn't even feel bored. There is a real peaceful vibe, you feel peace, safe, warm and truly at home at Die Kraaltjie. We would like to go back in the summer - but I want to add, we were not cold at all, in the middle of the winter outside, the fire inside kept us cozy and the beds were nice and warm and we slept like babies.
Die Kraaltjie is a must stay for any couple with kids. My daughter loved the green grass and play area. The cottage was fully equipped and the hostess very friendly. Hopefully we shall return in the near future.
The house is lovely and fully equipped. The rooms are decorated nicely and is very clean. The hostess is very friendly. The aircon was a winner and kept the house cool. We would love to return.
Got back to nature! Recharged our batteries.
It was a quiet time, neat and clean, only the passing road can sometimes be busy. Children could play peacefully and safely.
Very nice place, will definitely go there again.
Ideal getaway, nice family time. The place was neat and clean. The orchards were amazing and fruits sweet and tasty that welcomed us.
Zeelia was very accommodating. Cute little place, clean an neat.
Extremely disappointed. Travelers be warned: it's meters away from 24/7, very busy road with big heavy trucks thundering past - no chance for sundowners on the porch. No farm animals encountered, as the house has high exterior walls. We fled to 100% B&B in the town - only then did we start having fun. Robertson see us again.
A beautiful, very well equipped and tidy place. We had a great stay!
We had a lovely weekend at Die Kraaltjie. Best of all, it's pet-friendly, so our two four-legged kids thoroughly enjoyed it! It's walking distance to wine farms! Can recommend to anyone!
Fantastic place, loads of space, all the necessities, friendly owners.
Nice stay. Very pretty and neat.
We enjoyed it. Nice breakaway and we enjoyed the walks on the farm along with the four legged friends.
Die Kraaltjie is beautifully equipped and the indoor braai creates a nice and relaxed and social atmosphere. There was unfortunately other factors that did not go unseen and made our stay less pleasant.
The place was pretty with nice décor and had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to other people and also stay there again.
Enjoyed a lot. Fry inside a lot of use. Nice garden and children enjoyed play area.
The Kraaltjie is really outstanding accommodation that I can confidently recommend to those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The only downside, if you can call it that, is that it is located very close to a busy road which can be a nuisance especially on weekends. Otherwise it was great!
Cute place and beautiful surroundings. Maybe just too close to a very busy road!
Thank you very much "Die Kraaltjie" for a lovely long weekend, your place is beautiful and met all our requirements plus more! Thank you very much for the nice sweet clowns, complimentary wine and a lot of nice wood!
Had a great stay and will definitely go again!
It's a beautiful combination of the "old" and the "new" for us. Extremely friendly reception. The Kraaltjie testifies to good taste and cleanliness. Recommend it with great boldness.
Clean, tidy and comfortable cottage. Interior decoration stylish. Boland hospitality makes you feel right at home.
The Kraaltjie is a beautiful place with hospitable owners where we could escape from the city rush for a few days. The detail in decor and cleanliness of the cottage makes you feel special. "This is my heart's place, here I breathe."
Beautiful house - neat and fully equipped for a self-catering unit. Lovely surroundings and very centrally located if you want to drive around and explore the area.
Very pleasant stay in a very well equipped cottage in a beautiful environment. Pleasant to walk around the fruit farm. Pleasant host and wife.
The hospitable reception made us feel very welcome. The place is very neat. Although water is provided, it is good to take more water with you for cooking and drinking as the tap water comes from the canal. The place is recommended, especially if you compare the price with other places of the same standard.
A very nice house that is well equipped. Everything you need to have a great stay was there. Zeelia is very friendly, accommodating and concerned that we have a good stay.
