George went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, keeping our woodpile topped up throughout the weekend and being incredibly accommodating. Unfortunately, one of my children had a medical emergency, and George was incredibly helpful during this difficult time. He immediately replaced our soiled towels with fresh ones and even assisted with hooking up our trailer when we had to leave earlier than planned. The property itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the necessities. I can confidently recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed stay with top-notch hospitality!
I had a truly wonderful experience. From the warm welcome by the Farm Manager, George, to the beautifully maintained grounds and comfortable accommodations, everything exceeded my expectations. George and Katja were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The beautiful decor added charm, and despite the rain, the indoor fire provided warmth and comfort. The serene environment and stunning views were perfect for relaxation. Thank you for a delightful experience. I look forward to visiting again and will recommend Die Olyf Plaas to friends and family.
We had a great stay at the Olive Farm. The facilities were clean and comfortable. We also heard and saw the osprey above some of the ponds on the farm.

A nice quick getaway out of the city. Quiet and tranquil with loads of privacy. Good value for money.
The place is beautiful, nice, and modern. But the following needs attention: not enough plugs in the rooms, which made it difficult to use. The shower in the main area was overflowing so much that it overflowed into the living area. Both showers need attention. The gate situation when leaving was a nightmare; waited for 45 minutes to open. There was no cell phone reception!
The chalet is tastefully furnished with attention to detail and has a beautiful view. It's wonderfully peaceful and the hot tub is a pleasant addition. Consider purchasing fans or air conditioning for the rooms.

Our family will definitely use the institution's chalet again. Beautiful view of the Witzenberge. Fully equipped, good quality furniture and beds. Friendly service. The hot tub was a highlight, after a long day on the golf course and the best place to stargaze!
Very modern and clean accommodation. The view you get from the patio every day is lovely and relaxing. The design of the patio, hot tub and braai area were my favourite. With a group, we can all enjoy time together while enjoying the amenities. Will definitely book again in the future.

We booked our stay at Olyf Plaas for the views , peace and most importantly to use the hot tub. The hot tub did not work and we paid to stay for 3 nights. It was very disapointing. George the foreman was brilliand and really tried to fix it. I would suggest that the owners put some notification with regards to the water pressure when its loads shedding. The other cottages were occupied by a bachelorette parties and the 2nd night was quite nosey with all the drinking. The views , safety and neatness was great.
We stayed for 2 nights and were very pleased with the service. Beautiful, modern house with the most beautiful views. We went for a nice walk and sat in a hot Jacuzzi until late.
Excellent pre-visit communication and welcome. Lovely decor, well designed spaces and a magnificent veranda. Stargazing by night - magical!
