There are two units available, the Main house can accommodate up to eight persons at a time and consists of four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with two single beds each. The Main house has two full bathrooms. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels. The open plan lounge and dining room has a TV and DVD player, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a microwave, fridge/freezer, a gas stove with an electric oven, toaster, a kettle, cutlery and crockery. There is a separate scullery with a double washbasin, a washing machine and dishwasher for your convenience. There is a spacious outdoor braai area to enjoy with your family and friends. Large outside off street parking. Regrettably we do not allow pets at the establishment.

The owner of the place accommodated us on short notice. When arriving at Die Opstal, the owner welcomed us. She showed us the place for the night, explain to us where everything is, took us through the place, asked us if we are happy with the place (yes, we were). Her place is clean, has a warm, at home feeling. The next morning, she even came and get our towels, and keep on asking if we are okay. The place itself is in a safe area, walking distance from the shops and garage (we took a walk), close to the Berg River, which is also walking distance. The owner really made sure every time that we are okay, even recommend some places where we can go to. I will recommend Die Opstal to anyone, even though it is just for one night. Thank you to the owner, once again for accommodating us on such short notice.

We will definitely go again, Alice is extremely friendly and you can literally see she goes out of her way for guests. Place was very neat and well equipped. Would recommend it to anyone.

What a Beautiful, comfortable and centrally located home. All the luxuries that you will need to have the perfect break. The owner, Alice, is such a loving and caring lady ─ tipycal West Coast hospitality. Everything you need is available to you, and should you have a request/need, Alice is there in a flash to assist. Apart from the accommodation being well equipped and clean, it's also dry safe.
Alice was exceptionally kind. Her place is very neat. We immediately felt very much at home.
Delene was very friendly, and always available on her cell phone. Spacious and modern rooms. The gift upon our departure was very welcome.
On arrival Alice gave us a very friendly welcome, showed us everything and only contacted us again the day before departure. She came to greet us when we checked out and she is very friendly. Had a great stay - will go there again and recommend it to others.
The customer service was decent and friendly. The place is neat.
After a long day on the road and we got there late, Dalene-Alice was more concerned about the money that was still outstanding. Didn't even have a chance to unpack and get everything in order, then an SMS was also sent that the payment still doesn't show on her system.
