We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and clean village. The accommodation_name is a spacious, neat and well-equipped house with 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely open-plan kitchen/dining room. In addition, it has an enclosed front porch with built-in braai and large rear porch.

This is a beautifully restored house in Sutherland town centre. Fully equipped with everything one needs, with an indoor and outdoor barbecue area. There were only two of us, but would be suitable for a large family or for a group of friends traveling together. Nice swimming pool for cooling off in the Karoo summer heat. We will definitely come back.
Beautiful old house, spacious with everything one needs. This is the cleanest and neatest accommodation we have ever booked. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms and the electric blankets were a winner in the cold. The service was second to none and the hospitality was excellent, we were patiently waited for even though we arrived later than planned. DSTV was also switched on for us within minutes at short notice. Thank you for the excellent service and spotless house, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely come again.

Very comfortable house. We only stayed overnight, enjoyed meals at BlueMoon. House is spacious and parking behind the house.
And I think we chose the best place to spend the night! It was wonderful in the old house where lawyers have been staying for generations, to stay overnight and still with its lot of character. I would like to stay there longer. We felt right at home and even the children enjoyed it. It's so peaceful and unique. We had some trouble and the uncle around the corner had no problem helping us, even though it was past working hours.
We had power with load shedding. Would also like to connect the television to the inverter. Fewer lights on would surely make the television play - just a suggestion. Cars were safely parked behind the house.

Die Prokureurshuis has everything you need for a very pleasant stay. The gas stove makes it easy to cope with loadshedding. We made a fire in the lounge because the evening was chilly which made for a pleasant evening.

Wow, if I could just pick up this house and put it down in Johannesburg, I'd be a very happy woman. Most beautiful house with wooden floors and large rooms. Warm blankets on the beds were a blessing in the cold evening. The Old Mill Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We liked Die Prokureurshuis very much. Owner kept in touch and organised for us to leave our luggage there before time of arrival. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. All necessities were available and everyone off is enjoyed our stay there. We'd recommend this as a great place to stay.

The house is a beautiful old house with everything one needs and more. Jacques and Janine received us very friendly and personally and showed us everything in and around the house, as well as advice for a nice dinner. Prokereurshuis in Sutherland was one of our highlights of our Northern Cape holiday. I recommend the place 100% to any person.

It was really a beautiful place. Nice and quiet.
The accommodation was stunning, a hidden gem. It was the cleanest of all the places we stayed at for our December trip. I'm only sorry that we did not stay longer - one night is definitely not long enough and I'll be back to stay there again and experience Sutherland in its full beauty one day.

Although it is a large house and can easily get cold it has a lot of character. The sun porch, fireplace and underfloor heating in the bathrooms make it very cozy and ideal for a nice visit in a cold Sutherland. We would love to visit here again.
Comfortable. Location excellent. Good service. The stately old, but well maintained, house was a delight. Location in the center of Sutherland within walking distance of everything, couldn't be better. Very good service from Jacques at Jack of the Karoo and June just next to the premises.
We were all very impressed with how tidy this house is. If I remember correctly this house was built in 1938, but inside this house it is very modern. Unfortunately, the weather has not cooperated so nicely, but this only means that we will have to visit this house again. I would book this house again anytime.

It's a fantastic house - I think it could host a big party as there is so much space! The stars were indescribable, we had a great time at the boma.
Unfortunately, the timer on the hot water geyser meant that some nights we had to bathe in lukewarm or cold water. It is impractical to have active when guests are checked in. There was no notice at a wall plug in the one room where the water system's pump was plugged. The wall plug was pulled out to charge cell phones and this resulted in no water in the house. The pump's wall plug cannot be fed from inside a room's wall plugs. It is impractical.
Good value for money. Very tidy and has a lot of space. Will definitely visit again!
Please just warn the guests about the mice that is looking for a snack. Luckily we saw them in time to stow our food in the vehicle. We only stayed for one night, we did not bother to unpack our stuff.
The accommodation was so super awesome. Reminded us of our farm house. The house had everything you needed from the most basic kitchen accessories to super comfortable beds with high quality linen. We will definitely go back there.
House could have been a little cleaner. No hair dryer. Cleaners had already entered the house by 9:30 while we were still in the house.
Also plenty of free firewood provided for the fireplaces and everything in the house functions as it should. Very large rooms with good bathroom facilities, kitchen and plenty of space to socialize with your friends. Everything was neat and clean and the owner personally showed us everything and offered help if anything went wrong. He also lives in the house next door, so very accessible.
Ideally located just off the main road. Lovely old house that has kept much of its original character, three cozy fireplaces, a lovely sunny built in stoep, electric blankets for chilly nights. The house could do with a few small things to make it more comfortable. like an extra pot to cater for the numbers it can accommodate, matches to light the fires, and a double adaptor so you don't have to take turns with the toaster, kettle, microwave and coffee machine on the only plug in kitchen. All in all a good place to use as your base.
