36 guests' feedbackIt was a good experience. Everything as booked.
Very nice. There is no TV and WiFi, so we would advise that WiFi be installed.
Was pretty like that between nothing and nowhere. Cute place with everything you need.
Accommodation as advertised.
It exceeded all my expectations. Neat, well furnished, clean and very friendly reception. Safe, easily accessible and enough space for 4 people.
Beautiful house with 2 bedrooms. Nice living room. There is no TV and WiFi, but there are games to keep you occupied. Jac was very friendly and also helped us find a nice place to eat. Very calm and quiet.
Beautiful, clean, tidy and lovely beds! We had a great stay and it was a cute place with everything you need to sleep over on the way to the Cape. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed nice but very warm during load shedding.
A place to gather your thoughts without modern tech interferences. For the price, we would come again. Loxton and its town folk are unique.
Nice stay in a well-equipped self-catering unit. Hospitable owner, and chats that make you feel like old friends. Thank you, you are on our favorite list!
We were pleasantly surprised and how spacious the house was. It is beautifully finished and decorated and the bedding is top quality.
It is a beautiful, clean, tidy and well-appointed place with very secure parking. Jac's hospitality is excellent, even our dogs were friends immediately. Everything was perfect! I would recommend Rolbos to anyone.
Friendly reception. Beautiful clean cottage, stunning village, bliss for the soul.
Als was in good working order. Neat overnight accommodation in the Karoo. Bedding clean and tidy.
The host is extremely friendly and hospitable, we enjoyed it, value for money.
The house is nicely positioned for beautiful views of sunsets. A nice porch for visiting. Lead water in the Karoo! A spacious yard that offers privacy. We enjoyed and appreciated it.
We could only stay one night, but the cottage was perfectly adequate. The electric blankets were a winner and the kitchen well equipped. Maybe just look at the size of the towels: a bit on the small side. We were also very happy that our Jack Russell was welcome. He thoroughly enjoyed himself.
Die Rolbos offers all the basic amenities one needs to have a comfortable stay at an incredibly reasonable price. It was surprisingly spacious and could comfortably accommodate two couples. The beds were very comfortable and the electric blankets were welcome. The only pity is that our trip did not allow us to stay any longer than one night. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and would certainly look to book it again when we next visit Loxton. Thank you Jac for being such a great host.
Friendly host and we got everything we needed.
The Rolbos Loxton Guest Cottage is very neat and perfectly furnished. The service is friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Loxton!
Spent the weekend there looking at houses to buy. It is a nice peaceful town where you can walk your dog and the people are very friendly.
It was a nice sleepover!
I had the best time in this small town. From the host to the people, I enjoyed Loxton and this accommodation very much! Can't wait to come back.
Stay was difficult due to a sudden rainstorm that knocked out power. Water pressure was non-existent, so we could not use the shower the next morning. The owner accommodated us by not charging the full amount (only deposit was paid) and also did not charge for the bag of wood we used by braaiing in the rain.
The house is nice and clean and everything you need is there. We were received very kindly and Jac is very helpful. The house is nice clean and tidy. Our stay was very pleasant.
Jac made us feel very welcome and his place was very clean and had everything needed for a nice overnight stay.
Just allow me to put my low rating of security in perspective: In today's South Africa we are used to high fences or walls, with electric wires, security guards, cameras connected to a security company, outside beams, and possible guard dogs ! Rolbos Loxton has nothing of the kind! Of course, at Loxton there is no need to keep anyone off your property! That's what makes it so enjoyable: the relaxed and peaceful country atmosphere, which still prevails at Loxton! We were also very impressed with the host Jac's warning to us, before we booked, that a cold front was heading to Loxton for the weekend of 28th August 2021. And he was absolutely right! Wasn't it cold that weekend! But provision was made for the cold by an electric blanket, as well as wood for the fireplace. Jac also took pains to explain how we should prevent the water pipes from freezing overnight, for a possible early morning hot shower. We really appreciated it!
That's all you need for a night's rest. Well located, just off the main road. Close to Loxton lodge for a meal and close to KVB to fill up. Friendly host.
Stunning house with braai area and nice covered stoep. Will definitely go back.
The town is calm and beautiful. There are the cutest, sweetest two brats, Kwassie and Mojo, who only add to your time with pleasure. I would go again anytime.
Cute design for a cabin. Nice furniture and accessories. Wish we could stay longer. The house is located within a large vegetable garden (urban agriculture), so it's quite different and special. The owners are very nice and helpful. It was only a little warm in the afternoon, until the sun went down behind the big pine trees, but the owners plan to put in more insolation. I would also suggest planting some karee trees to create some shade around the cottage. The amount payable depends on whether people use 1 or 2 of the rooms - it's in the fine print on the website.
Would love to recommend to others.
The location on the edge of the village makes the unit a blissful getaway. Nice and sunny for the cold winter and the fireplace was a perfect addition for cold evenings. Although the owners house is on the same grounds, we didn't see any people, and it was very private and quiet. Will definitely visit the place again.
There were extras such as fire lighters, a container of milk and even some biscuits for morning coffee. The place was very clean and tidy. For one night's stay it was more than sufficient.
Cottage is a flat roof cabin that gets very hot inside and has no shade outside, so you can't stay there in the day. Cottage itself very neat and nets in front of windows help with mosquitoes.
Will be back next year! Thanks again for a great place to stay!
