12 guests' feedbackElly and Kiewiet are beautiful people. Very hospitable. Have a nice time. Bathroom a bit on the cramped side. Only place where I could get out and get dressed with 2 teenage boys in the room.
The road to the guesthouse is extremely bad and if you do not have a 4x4 you will not get there safely. The place is very badly run-down and needs serious maintenance. The rooms, bedding, etc. smell miff. The dinner and breakfast would have been better left out. The dogs sit on everything and the place in general stinks. Overall not a good experience at all and will not be returning.
Close to the N4, wonderfully peaceful in the woods. Outstanding hospitality, neat room and delicious breakfast.
The hostess and her husband are wonderful people. So friendly and fun to talk to. Food from the top shelves! Especially the avocado salad. Will definitely make a visit there again.
What a surprise to discover this homely accommodation in Schoemanskloof. Ellie's food is excellent and Kiewiet's avocado salad is top notch! They are delightful company. We will definitely go back again.
Our time spent at Die Rots was awesome. My husband was raised on a farm in the area, so for us our visit was like a pilgrimage. We were sad to leave. For me I've left a part of myself behind. I would love to go back and visit again. Thanks Ellie and Kieviet.

A beautiful, quiet place for someone who wants to spend time relaxing and reading under huge shady trees. Not for the disco and bright light types.
