We only stayed over for one night. Everything was 100%. Rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very nice place. Nicely furnished, neat and clean. The house has been very nicely restored and still has the feeling of the old days, combined with the furniture it really gives you the feeling of "traveling back in time". Our accommodation was B&B, but we had to leave early on Saturday morning for the boys. They met us and prepared delicious "Breakfast Packs" for us.
Beautifully restored, exquisitely decorated, linens were luxurious and wonderful. Excellent food.

Perfect location to explore Cradock and Mountain Zebra Park. Takes you back to a bygone era but with the comforts of today. Highly recommend it for a few nights stay.

Beautifully restored cottages available in the heart of Cradock. Affordable meals are provided in the adjacent hotel. There are also self-catering facilities available. Cottages are indeed on a busy street and safety may be a problem.

Beautiful old hotel and antique collectors dream. However for anyone wanting a bit more modern update its not a great offer. The hotel grounds and surrounds are tired. The pool is tiny, not great condition and in a poor location. The cottage we stayed in, the building was worn and tired. Things were clean and tidy but not great. Wireless network was non existent in cottage. Breakfast was good; in fact the croissants were fantastic; the highlight of the stay.

The Tuishuise are restored houses that date from the last century. The 32 houses have been carefully renovated and furnished with furniture and crockery that give you the experience of the lifestyle of our ancestors. We stayed 2 nights in The Gallery. Clean, comfortable, with old fashioned charm. Exactly what we expected. In the evening we went to eat in the Victoria Manor where a buffet is offered. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to people who want to experience the ancient history.

An experience from the days of history.
The Victoria Manor is a lovely place with an exceptional atmosphere. Their meals are excellent, and the staff is well trained and friendly. The building needs some repairs, but it doesn't bother you so much as to put you off.

It's rare that a hotel is one of the attractions of a town. The Tuishuise & Victoria Manor is without a doubt a must visit place when visiting Cradock: A whole street with 30 lovingly restored guesthouses and a hotel which seems to be the center of town life - no luxury accommodation, but a fun and stylish one. We really enjoyed everything: the friendly service, the special atmosphere and the good food. There's plenty of reason to return.
I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed as the room we were allocated looked nothing like the one I had booked. It was still clean and tidy, but I personally think that there could be a little more attention to detail. The soap and shampoo in the shower did not have stoppers. The table outside was broken and dirty. There is no outside light at the back of the house and if you have to go to your vehicle it is pitch dark and in my opinion dangerous. Gibson, who received us, was nice and helpful. Shane, who took us to our place, was very friendly. Had a delicious meal in the hotel that evening with good service. A little bit more attention will definitely improve that review.

After a long day on the road, it was nice to check in at the Tuishuise and Victoria Manor Hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and neat and clean room were just the right medicine. Can highly recommend it.
We stayed in Lion House and it was very well equipped. The bathrooms are very new and modern even though the house itself is old, so it's very nice. The house had beds for 8 with a private back garden and DStv etc. No air conditioning. Apparently there are some of the other houses that have both, so just ask. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. You have a good time there.
There was some street noise but that's not too serious. Breakfast was reasonable. Over all, good value for money.
The history of the cottage is striking and the service excellent.
