We had a great time at Die Wilde Gans. Hostess was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend the place to sleep over.
Owner made us feel very welcome. It felt like home. Everything one needs is in the place of residence. Very clean and very tidy. I definitely recommend it to everyone and would stay there again.
We had such a nice stay there. We couldn't fault the place. Would stay there again anytime.
After a warm welcome by the hostess, Hettie, the automated vehicular gate was opened, which made concern for the vehicles overnight disappear. The cottage is quaint, not large enough (in my opinion) to spend multiple days on holiday, unless it's just for a place to sleep, as was our case. DStv and Wifi are available, but remember torches for loadshedding. Cooking utensils are there for those doing self-catering, as well as complimentary coffee and tea. There are a range of restaurants to choose from, but we found that Charlie's Brewhouse had exactly what we were after. If you're two sharing, one is on the bed whilst the other on the couch (which was apparently very comfortable to sleep on). The single en-suite bathroom might be a challenge to some, but wasn't a problem for us. Overall, a great stay and a pity we didn't book for another night, even if just to get a chance to drive around the town.
Comfortable, neat overnight accommodation. Well equipped; secure parking; quiet neighborhood. Suitable for two adults.
Space was to small for 3 guests. Braairooster was rusted. Bathroom very small and toilet leak. Because carpet wet. Even with my discount. Feel that it was overprized. It is size of a batchelor flat. 2 sleeper couches in living area uncomfortable to sit on.

The Wilde Gans is very centrally located. Saldanha, Vredenburg, Jacobs Bay, St Helena Bay, Dwarskersbos, and Paternoster within traveling distance. Lots to see and do. . The Wilde Gans is a very neat apartment with all the necessary facilities. Was very impressed and had a great time.
Tanya from the website went out of her way with help after another guest house canceled on me. I was impressed with the Wild Goose. The washing machine and washing line were a great asset to me.
We enjoyed Field Drive. Beautiful garden and apartment is well equipped. The apartment is just too small for 4 adults.

Was neat and comfortable with everything you need in an apartment for a lovely, comfortable overnight stay. DStv is great and WiFi (a bit slow) and was able to barbecue on a movable, smallish barbecue with a grill.
Everything needed for a single traveler or couple and close to good restaurants. Very secure parking. A built-in braai on the covered porch will definitely be an asset.
