The place was fantastic. Quiet and peaceful and uniquely decorated with antique memorabilia. We and especially the children had a great time. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality.
Me, my fiancé and my mother shared a room for a wedding. Was very comfortable, neat and clean. Price very fair. Was literally just across the road from the wedding venue so it was perfect. Will definitely recommend.

Attended a wedding at Esperanza wedding venue which is not far from there. I was kindly received, well explained where everything was and got comfortably into my room. Room is neatly furnished and comfortable with everything you need. Guest house is in a quiet environment and seemed safe to me as a single female traveler. Might just suggest a fan in the room for the warmer months.
Hostess was very friendly and helpful. The bed in the room was very uncomfortable and it was difficult to sleep. The furniture is old, but the room was very neat and clean.
The place was nice and everything was beautiful.
It was 1 km from our function. We were kindly received, with champagne on the bed and a picnic basket the next morning, very nice.
My daughter's wedding was at Esperanza and Desert Rose is not far away. The rooms are well furnished with everything and more that people need for a short visit or overnight stay. Slept well and drank coffee the next morning.
The rooms need an upgrade - toilet not working properly, open electrical wires, bed very worn with body ridges. Arrived during load shedding and there was absolutely no lighting of any sort (solar garden lights) to see where you are going.
This was our second stay, and it was again an easy check-in. Conveniently located close to year-end venues. We had a great stay, and checked out well-rested.
Anouk is the best hostess and we felt right at home. The place is neat and clean and everything you need.
Nice place to sleep over. Everything we needed was at our disposal and ideal for an overnight stay.
The curtains are dirty and hang on 6 hooks! The beer bottles were lying in a pile next to the trash can! The plates and cutlery were in such a terrible state that I didn't even want to eat from them. The kitchen sink was dirty with old cupboards. If there must be a rustic look, they failed miserably in it. The garden was untidy and the lawn untidy. My daughter-they wanted to look for another place to live. Rightfully so.
We ran out of space for some of the men, after a work function, who live too far to drive back late at night, and arranged ahead. Anouk was very friendly, and received us early so that the workmates could enjoy their day. We finished late, had a great sleep, and were out again early in the morning. Very comfortable and felt welcomed.
I really enjoyed the huge bath. However, I neglected to ask if there was a shower for my husband. So the guest house didn't do anything wrong, I just should have asked in advance if there was a shower.

Beautiful place in a peaceful environment.
We were spoiled the next morning with a cold breakfast basket which we did not expect. All they need us a warm fireplace for the winter.
We had a wedding in the area and it was a good overnight spot. Everything we needed.
We only needed a bed for 1 night. My sister got married nearby and we didn't want to go back home late at night. The people are very friendly. We were only a little disappointed because the room was not cleaned. The floor was full of bugs and dust. Other than that they were very nice, we got coffee and biscuits which I didn't know was included.
Our room was very clean, neat and comfy. I recommend Die Woestynroos Gastehuis for an overnight stay.
