We had a great time and would recommend the place, especially for guests with dogs.
Hospitality is definitely the first impression. Unit is very neat and if you are looking for tranquility, this is the right place.
Great getaway! Very calm! We and our dog children had a great time. Pierre was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The bottle of wine was also a very nice and nice gesture! We will definitely visit again!
Very peaceful. The splash pool was very welcome in the heatwave. We travelled with a gazebo and camping chairs, which were very useful in the heat as we set them up at the pool. The dogs were made welcome and the fenced-off garden allowed them room to explore safely. An inverter is available to keep the lights on during load shedding. It was lovely to watch the cows grazing around the perimeter of the garden fence. There is a lovely braai area with wood supplied. WiFi was available. This is the perfect place for a chilled getaway. The host was very helpful. It's suitable for relaxing, soaking in the splash pool and braaing.
Yes, nice stay, but there are an awful lot of flies and the owner might think of hanging something that will draw the flies away from the cottage or at least reduce them.
Rustic & quiet, wonderfully relaxing. Nice big fenced off lawn for dogs to run & play!
Had a lovely relaxing weekend with the furkids! Pierre was a great host and always available. The house is comfortable with everything you need. The splash pool is great to cool off in for humans and furkids. All in all, a lovely pet-friendly location very close to Pretoria.
I enjoyed the rustic feel of being on the farm, with the chickens and the cows. I feel there could be a slightly more comfortable seating arrangement for the lounge area and possibly some loungers in the garden to encourage use of the 'pool' more, but otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to family/friends.
Secluded with real farm sounds of cattle and chickens. Truly a place for family togetherness and to recharge everyone's batteries.
A perfect, tranquil break close to Gauteng where our family and 3 small dogs had a restful breakaway. Bonfires with long walks make it so enjoyable.
The children enjoyed the farm animals. The splash hole was also well used. The driver regularly topped up the water. Neat barbecue area, and then wood is also provided. Then I'm not talking about the special bottle of wine we got. We will definitely go again.
The reception was warm and friendly and Pierre is very helpful throughout. The braai area is comfortable, I feel sorry for the tree over the flames, but please don't take the tree out! The water is deliciously warm and all the accessories in the cottage are well thought out. We slept really well!
Fully equipped and serviced private cottage on a beautiful farm. Very welcoming and comfortable. I can highly recommend it and will definitely visit again!
