Everyone was friendly and helpful and great get away for a large group looking for privacy.
It is equipped with everything you will need. Neat rooms, bathrooms and linen. We will definitely go back again. Lots of privacy. Cozy lapa, braai and kitchen area. Just incredible. Good woodland break for young and old. Value for money. Moses is very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend a game drive booking, was great and saw a lot of game. It was a bonus that someone came to clean every day, wash dishes, etc.

We had a wonderful stay. The Lapa kitchen is a hit and comfortable. Donald is an asset and very helpful. The chairs need some attention. Hand washing soap and cloth to wipe things in the kitchen will be handy. Other than that, it was a weekend to remember. Wish we could stay longer. Thank you very much!

We were a group of friends and we really enjoyed our stay. One friend just commented on stains on cushions on the patio but otherwise, it was good.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were really helpful. I would just suggest a bigger fridge and the bedding was also old, worn and torn. But otherwise the place is perfect.
The place was very pleasant and definitely adequate for what we were looking for. We were a large group of 12, looking for affordable company in the bushveld. Of course, there are plenty of other places to stay in the reserve to choose from, but this suited our budget. The manager was very helpful and the caretaker was also available all the time. It is noticeable that some of the units need some money and commitment. Maybe a new fridge as an idea for the kitchen. And as another suggestion, they could at least provide bathroom soap for each cottage, because it's not necessarily something one would think to pack themselves. But in general, the lapa and visiting areas were where one spent most of the time and it was very pleasant. Everything was neat and cleaned regularly. If your expectations are right, then you will have a great time.
The place is peaceful.
We were 4 families who spent Christmas at Dinonyane. It is a fantastic, private piece of woodland and very beautiful. The pool was pot blue and we had everything in the common area that we could possibly need. The units are not luxurious at all, but everything was perfectly clean and Moses couldn't do enough for us. The fridge is a bit small for so many people, but at least we had enough cooler boxes. We will definitely visit again.

What an unforgettable, fun, peaceful getaway! We really enjoyed our time at Dinonyane! Clean, safe and beautiful place. We would recommend Dinonyane and look forward to visiting them again in the near future.
The grounds are beautifully maintained and the large boma has everything you could need. The outside seating area with fire-pit was a perfect way to spend an evening under the stars. Moses, the caretaker, was so helpful and took care of everything for us.
Due to the fact that the lodge is hired out to just one group is one of it's biggest plus points. You can totally relax as the only people around you is the ones that you know. Everything was set up upon our arrival by the friendly and helpful staff and although it was extremely hot (December), there were a lot of trees and with the neatly cut grass all around made it look like you are geared for an enjoyable stay. Enough camping chairs were set out around the boma and we could not wait for nightfall to light the boma fire. As a bonus you get to hear the early evening jackal "choir" every night. We also got to see some wildlife (Zebra's, Impalas, Giraffes and Wildebeest) passing by the camp during daytime. This is not a "luxury" lodge, but is a comfortable lodge where you can sit and talk with friends under the huge lapa till the early morning hours or solve the world's problems around the boma fire!
Fridge not working, how 8 people are expected to use the non sealing fridge is beyond me. There are not enough glasses (we were 8 people and could not each use a glass at the same time). Price of wood is R50 (notification) but with delivery it is R100. Sunday morning DStv is disconnected! Did not have a pleasant experience at all.
A winner lapa and the circular chairs around the fire are definitely an opportunity to make memories! Moses and Donald went out of their way to help us this weekend! We will definitely go again. The night sounds were a bonus! We even saw a fox near the fence one night!

Nice quiet place for groups or family get together. Enjoy the fact that each family had its own space, but stil together in the same camp. The swimming pool was a blessing. However it needs a lot of maintenance. There are a lot of things that need urgent attention. Had no remote to get in out of the gate. Was very frustrating.
We were there for a friend's bachelorette. It was very beautiful. The swimming pool was beautifully blue, the lapa is very well equipped with everything one needs. Our dishes were washed early. In the evening, Ronald turned on the lights for us and on Sunday he continues with his chores. A cheetah came to visit us on Saturday afternoon. The cottages might benefit from a little more love, but overall we had a very nice stay.
We had a great weekend for my husband's 50th. Power was a problem in the beginning, but my father and brother-in-law were electricians and immediately started to see what was wrong. Dennis also came to see what was going on and power was sorted out. He was very friendly. Moses is an angel and was there when I called him for anything. The lapa was spotless every morning when we got up. He cleaned the braai with soap and water! I will definitely go again anytime if we are a big group.
It was very nice and peaceful. Everything you could need was there. Nice big logs for bonfire. Rooms spotless.

We arrived to find that the place was double booked so there were people in our chalets. The owner needs to maintain the place better. It is beautiful, but not clean. The showers were very dirty. Please improve, because this place has a lot of potential.
Not seen the big five. Possibly just a publicity stunt. Still haven't gotten my deposit back. Mchael Daymond not seen with an eye. If I try to call him, there is no answer.
