The small mistakes that were there were immediately corrected and even with loadshedding, provision was made for power and there was free WiFi the whole time which worked excellently. I would gladly recommend the place.
There was spider web on each corner, on the roof and inside the basin cupboards. Only 1 hanger in the room. We arrived Friday, left Saturday morning until after 17h00. They did not clean the room nor take out the dust, which was full from takeaway boxes. Now the whole room was smelly as we walked in on Saturday evening.
The two plastic chairs were very uncomfortable. My husband's chair broke and he landed on the floor. The toilet was leaking, we wanted to close the door to muffle the sound, but the door had no handle! Air conditioner, TV and bedside lamp out of order. Inferior chairs that threaten your safety. Not value for money at all.
The room was dirty and had cobwebs over the headboards - clearly not cleaned. No water in pipes and rusty pipes leave you smelling dirty after a shower. Linens were broken and torn.
Our stay at Dinonyane Lodge was so nice and peaceful. The food is fantastic. The service is friendly and they are happy to help. And the birds' company really makes it a time to remember.
Was business in the area and accommodation was within our budget.
It was really wonderful, beautiful scenery, silence and nice people with five star accommodation. I'll be back soon.

If you want to get away from the busy city life and look for rest, peace and nature, this the place to go.
Lovely stay at Dinonyane during Bokkieweek - it's ideally located near Naboomspruit. Bedroom a little on the small side and kitchen could do with a sofa or chairs.
We had a very nice stay. Eddy's breakfast with freshly baked bread was top notch.
The price I paid is too high for that lodge. There is no DStv, small, old screen, the cleaning wasn't arranged properly. The facilities were poor.
The owner and reception really hospitable. Just ask if you need anything and they will bring it. Really peaceful place to stay. Very nice garden. Will stay there again near golf courses for those who like to play golf.
We really enjoyed the tranquility, and would recommend Dinonyane Lodge to anyone who wants to get away and rest carefree. The owners are friendly hosts who make the time with them precious. We look forward to visiting again in the future.
We stayed over on our way to a wedding. Everything was convenient and it was nice to know that the kids were safe. Also a lot to keep the kids busy with. We were able to enjoy a braai.
It was lovely to be in nature, lots of birds, relaxing on the veranda. All that could be improved is maybe a few extra TV channels for the evenings. Thank you very much.

We had a lovely time at the lodge. Lots of birds to see, so take your camera. Must try the "Boere" breakfast. Take a book to read and relax.

The rooms were tidy, but the white, high quality linen mentioned in their website was nowhere to be seen. On the contrary, there were black and gray bedding and navy towels in the room. Furthermore, there was friendly service and the location was as mentioned.

Dinonyane is very suitable for visitors who long for peace and quiet! The units are located in such a way that you don't see much of the other visitors. The meals were excellent and the management friendly and helpful. There are many birds, though not as abundant as in the rainy season. Will definitely go again!

I arranged to check in at 20:00. There were no-one to help us when we arrived. Luckily saw the key lying on the counter. I asked for an extra bed (payed for it), but no bedding was provided (just a piece of fabric covering the mattress), neither any towels. No warm water. Learned the following morning that the power has been out for 4 days. The owner could at least have notified us the night we checked in.
When we arrived there Eddie informed us that he had had no electricity for 4 days and was using a generator. Due to this, we had no hot water, could not use the bar fridge in the room and I had to throw away around R150 worth of food due to this. The generator could only support lights and not much else.
I was host of a group of American students conducting geophysical research work in the region as part of a "research experience for undergraduates" programme. Dinoyane provided the perfect base: clean, comfortable, secure and relatively cheap. The lapa provided an excellent venue for cooking and socialising. The manager and staff were attentive to our needs.
Dinonyane is a lovely place with very friendly and helpful people. They made us feel at home. Was a lovely family break.

The rooms and bathrooms were ideal for our needs. The daily cleaning services were good, except that they were done very late in the day. All the staff were very friendly, involved and helpful. However, the mosquitoes were a real problem. Perhaps spraying buildings could be considered, as it would not cause too much damage to nature. The coolness at the self-care units is also a problem in the morning. One can hardly stand it in the mornings there. Maybe fast growing or large trees could be planted? (Like the shade trees at the other units.) However, the evenings around the campfire were very nice and relaxing. The horn at the cafe is really annoying. Maybe a full-time person could serve there? Nevertheless, a very enjoyable weekend!

Clean and neat with excellent birds in the gardens. The website was a bit misleading. The website offers a restaurant which was closed while we were there. It also says there is coffee and tea in the room, which was not the case. Other than that, it is a wonderful birding destination.
It was a fairly pleasant stay, the agent was very friendly. Great hospitality and peaceful environment.

Dinonyane Lodge is ideally situated on the edge of Nylsvley, one of the top birding sites of South Africa. It was a pleasant base for a few days with good accommodation and a splendid garden and facilities.
