We had a wonderful few days in Yzerfontein. The accommodation was comfortable, we had everything we needed. We had a very nice stay there. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Very peaceful atmosphere and the owner is very friendly. The place has everything you need, especially in load shedding the television and WiFi still work. The pool and braai work well together, especially when the little ones want to swim. Will definitely go again.

Sonia is welcoming and the small house is clean and cosy. Full DStv package and Wi-Fi. I didn't get to use the pool but it's a great summer home for a family. My bed was comfortable with great pillows. I loved the sound of the sea at night and the call of the Francolins in the morning.
Everything was good and tidy. It's just that the one room with a toilet and shower was almost next to the bed. We couldn't believe you called it a room with an en suite. The toilet is physically almost next to the bed with the shower next to it. Slept in the other room. Then it was the fridge that couldn't get cold. At least the freezer part worked. The inverter system does not make an hour. We have been warned, but you must also inform the people on your advertisement.
We enjoyed our summer holiday. There was sufficient space and the host was very hospitable. We will return.

I would recommend Dolfin House to anyone. We had a great time and the house is close to the sea. The owners made us feel so welcome.
I would recommend the following: Electric sheets, new boiler that doesn't spill as much, remove broken kitchen equipment from cupboards, provide more toilet paper, accommodate guests who bring pets by keeping the gate closed so their pet doesn't run into the streets. Other than that really pleasant stay! Very nice spacious house.

The house is very nice and tidy and close to the sea - we just walked to the sea and back every day. It is also very private even though it is downstairs from the owner's house - the owner was also very friendly. My dog also enjoyed the house and was very comfortable there. I would recommend the house anytime. I think it would also be a great house for a group of people as the braai area and swimming pool are so nice and big.

Sonia was an astronomical host. We really enjoyed the tranquility and the fact that the owner never intruded on our privacy, we felt like royalty to have such a beautiful space home. In addition, everything is within walking distance of shops and the beach. However, my daughter (teenager), who never travels with us, really enjoyed her. At least we could also get a chance to use the nice pool. Thank you Sonia for a nice visit full of love. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the city's noise.

Nice vacation spot.
No privacy. Owner and family stayed on the property above us. Was not wheel chair friendly as we could not move my sister from the house to pool/braai area as there were stones all over.

This house is ideal if you're looking for a location that can be relaxing to adults and entertaining for kids. Unfortunately we didn't have great weather to enjoy the pool, but we managed to take a walk on the beach and visit !Khwa ttu museum which was fun for all of us. The shops are also walking distance from the property which is also ideal. We will be visiting again in summer.

We enjoyed a nice family weekend (with my brother and sisters) at Dolfin House. Sonia was very accommodating in many ways - she allowed us to arrive earlier and leave later. Dolfin House is conveniently located and well equipped - and has free WiFi. It has a nice sheltered braai area (which especially came in handy on Saturday night with the cold southerly wind and light rain we experienced). Definitely recommend for a small group.

What a lovely pampering break, even if you don't have a sea view, you hear the sea the whole time. Really a short walk and you are on the beach. Our extremely pleasant hostess went out of her way to make it just more pleasant for us and to spoil us with delicious cookies. Would recommend anyone to use Dolfin House and would visit again myself.
I did a lot of searching for accommodation for our family with a young adult/student and a teenager. Dolfin House is wonderfully spacious, the sea is close by and there is a swimming pool. Ideal getaway from the city. Wonderful scenery.

Very private and so nice close to the sea. Yet it is away from noise and cars and people. Our weekend was just too short - will stay here again.

The owner was in a bad mood. When we told her about the TV's remote control not working, she was asked what she should do. She got pretty down about the fact that her workers were breaking everything. She did not receive us well at all. And decided there and then to just pack up and go.
Sonia welcomed us as if we were family. It was delicious. She even made sure that we received special plates and tablecloth on Christmas Day. The outside entertainment area with the pool was a big plus. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Dolfin House for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. Sonja, the owner, was a delight and very helpful with assisting us in finding a nice restaurant to celebrate my mothers Birthday. The accommodation offers everything that you need, spacious and comfortable which is exactly what we wanted in our stay with two small children. Within earshot of the beach and so we had the great luxury of falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing.
Can definitely recommend for people who want to relax. Walking distance from the sea and close to several shops. Only sorry swimming pool was not available due to water restrictions. Sonia is very hospitable and spontaneous. Had a great time.
