The double-storey house comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time. The 2 bedrooms, located on the first floor, each has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. All beds have electric blankets for the colder, winter nights.
There is a lounge with comfortable seating and a TV with DStv channels and a fireplace, and walks out onto a verandah with patio furniture.
Downstairs, the third bedroom has a king-size bed, which can be converted into 2 single beds on request, as well as a lounge area with 2 single beds and a double bed.
The ground-floor kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a fridge-freezer, microwave, a fireplace, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. It also has a dining table with ample seating where guests can enjoy their meals together.
The down-stairs area walks out onto the patio and a large garden with panoramic views of the mountains. It has lovely braai facilities on the patio where guests can enjoy preparing a meal together.
For guests' convenience, the house is serviced daily. Wi-Fi is available.
The farm has a dam which is stocked with trout, and guests are welcome to bring along their fishing tackle.
Other activities on the farm include hiking and mountain biking.

14 guests' feedbackThe only change we would recommend is to get a sun cover for the patio, the sun is very bright at around 4 to 6 when it is the best time to sit outside.
Big and spacious with enough bathrooms and clean beds for everyone. The 3 fireplaces make the house and porch a lovely place in the winter with enough wood to ward off even the biggest cold fronts. We will definitely make a visit there again.
The man who meets you at home is so friendly and considerate, it was lovely, just needs a meat bowl for your meat, but other than that I can't complain, would go there again anytime. Very neat, with enough of everything.
Our reception by Oscar was great. The house was very neat and clean. Good quality beds and spotless linen. The stove's plates just get terribly hot even if they are set low. Will definitely stay there again.
Just a pity that one has to walk through a bedroom to the kitchen. Everything else is very nice with a good atmosphere - cosy.
The location is perfect, about 10 minutes drive from Clarens itself. Lovely views of the sun setting over the mountains Clarens, and the lights of Clarens at night. Spacious clean accommodation equipped with everything needed. On our arrival, greeted and shown around the house and where the light switches were. Fresh flowers in vases and cushions on the outdoor furniture ready for us to use. Nice touch! Dams for fishing were very small and unproductive, our only disappointment.
The house is neat and well furnished with a nice big kitchen. The view is something special! The stoep or balcony is the ideal place to enjoy this view.
Beautiful view, spacious house, clean and tidy. Suggestion from our side: consider replacing oven and basic pots and pans can also be upgraded a bit compared to accommodation rate.

The house and living areas were very comfortable. The kitchen reminded me of being a child on the farm. Everything we needed was there. The house is fully serviced every day, the braai is cleaned early every morning and packed with new wood. There was already ice in the fridge when we arrived. Two refrigerators make it convenient for a larger number of people staying there. The rooms inside the house were spacious and enough bathrooms to serve 10 people. I would definitely recommend Doloriet to anyone who doesn't want to stay in the town itself and is looking for peace and quiet.
Everything one could need was available in the house. The decor in the house is tasteful and surprises you in every room with something unique. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere and one cannot help but relax. From the veranda the view is breathtaking. Will definitely return again!
Silver clean, fully equipped house with enough sleeping space for 10 people. Which is serviced and cleaned every day, as well as the fireplaces and braai are cleaned and packed with wood. Our small children really enjoyed the open space and stargazing in the evenings. Most beautiful view of the mountains and Clarens in the distance. Will definitely book here again.
Would recommend setting up some kind of wind screen or boma, so one can still sit outside when it's windy. Otherwise really awesome. Amenities all there, everything we needed.
