The hospitality of the hosts, the design and neatness of the self-catering rooms and the breakfast and suppers (by arrangement) were all excellent. The farm atmosphere was a special experience. I will most definitely stay there again.
My husband and I stayed one night, the apartment was very clean and tidy with a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend Donsveertjie.
What lovely surroundings to be in. The farm was beautiful. We felt safe and warm and had everything we needed.
I would go back again anytime and definitely attend or even hold functions there.
However, suggest that breakfast is included in the price because it is expensive. A piece of biscuit with morning coffee would also be appreciated.
Host was very friendly and we had a great time.
We attended a family funeral in Heilbron and needed a place to rest in peace and quiet after a very busy and emotional week. Donsveertjie was really an oasis at the end of our emotional day.

We really enjoyed the nature and peace of the farm. However, we weren't so happy that the room we booked wasn't ready, as another person had already booked it a year ago. We stated clearly that we booked this room during our correspondence with the owners, but when we arrived the room wasn't available. One of the owners did put in a lot of effort to make one of the larger hunter's huts available to us as there weren't any people staying there who usually occupy it on a long term basis. We were very grateful for that and still enjoyed our visit, but I would suggest that they improve their record keeping system of what is booked and available, as it was quite a disappointment to us.

Owners very hospitable and friendly. Hot water was just not hot enough (solar geysers - cloudy and suddenly cold), but passable. (Owners have no control over the weather.) Room was spacious and comfortably furnished. One of the few places that provide enough coffee and tea and the biscuits were a nice bonus.
