23 guests' feedbackIt was a wonderful weekend, in a wonderful house, in a beautiful setting. The hosts made us feel very much at home and I'm going to want to go again.
The accommodation was top notch.
We absolutely loved the rest and relaxation that this location gave us. The pool is such a welcome addition. We swam at least 3 times a day. It was also great to be able to braai. The host was amazing and our daughter loved the horse riding. We wanted the location to spend time away from everything and to spend time with our South African family. We will definitely return.
I must say that we had an amazing time at Doornbosch Estate and Guesthouses. Heidi is super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back.

Had a lovely stay ─ appreciated the underfloor heating and lovely big fire that was already lit when we arrived! Magic views, beautiful fynbos and King Proteas along the road, a little bit of game viewing, board games and fun. Not far from Gansbaai. Only downside was that the water pressure was very low, which was a shame.
A beautiful, wonderful, equipped getaway! Can't wait to give that fireplace a test in the winter!

What a gem. It's the most gorgeous place. The place is immaculately decorated and clean. It is safe and the dogs just loved it here. We helped ourselves out of Norman's (the gardener) veg garden and made the most delicious dishes. We also ordered the free-range eggs and loved them. Heidi (manager) cannot do enough for us- amazing lady. We extended our stay for a day because we really do not want to leave. Bedding and bathrooms are 5-star. Loved this place and hope to see you soon.
We stayed in Hilltop, beautiful view of the valley and mountain. Underfloor heating was a winner in the cold, even our dogs slept like kings. We would love to stay there again. Thank you.

Most beautiful location and wonderful spacious accommodation.
We stayed two nights, but we would definitely stay longer if we could. Regardless of the stormy weather raging outside, we experienced no discomfort. Management was very helpful and friendly. Heidi, thank you so much for your wonderful service and hospitality.

Exquisite and tasteful, with all the special treats that make you feel at home. Like the homemade honey, real nut coffee, real biscuits. The place oozes relaxation, unpacking and legs. Feel free to try it yourself. You will not be disappointed!
Bigger than the photos can show, silence and peace that you have to experience for yourself, and picking spinach and squashes from Norman and Elizabeth's garden as part of an unforgettable experience with my parents, my husband and our son.
Doornbosch Gastehuis treated us to the most delicious honey, home-made venison pie, breathtaking nature, a veggie garden for at the guests' disposal, a fantastic little house, and much more. We can recommend Doornbosch without thingking twice for a relaxing and fantastic weekend. We will definitely be back!
Really enjoyed the weekend and we were warmly welcomed by Heidi. The scenery and relaxing atmosphere in which you can freely drive around and game watch make it a place worth going back to. The units are luxurious and neat. Looking forward to our next visit.
We were greeted by Heidi on arrival. The cottage was stunning and clean, you have everything you need. There are lots of extra little things that they have provided in the cottage to make your stay a pleasant one. We did some game viewing, cycled and walked the dog in this beautiful surroundings. Heidi and her husband were very helpful and friendly. They told us all about what was happening on the farm. The Cleaning staff did a great job and were also very friendly. We would love to go again.
