Beautiful and comfortable house and so well equipped. Beautiful view, totally in love with the stoep, so much fun there.
The location and the house exceeded all expectations. The house was tidy and had all the necessities available to make the visit comfortable and peaceful. The view from the veranda and the wildlife is incredible. There are enough activities to keep the whole family busy.
Doornkop Wildlife and Fishing Reserve is a special place with a tranquility about the resort. Unit 85 is centrally located with a very good view. The unit is well equipped and comfortable. Daily service makes it pleasant and keeps the unit tidy. The exceptional bird life is pleasant to watch and the animals can be seen from the veranda with a good view. The resort offers so many activities and everything can be undertaken at your leisure. Fishing (more winter season trout), cycling and walking on some marked trails or just exploring wherever you want. Two waterfall routes. 4x4 in the mountain or through swamps (depends on the season). Horse riding, swimming, tennis. Whatever you do, Doornkop 85 is a good unit in the reserve. Relax.
We had a lovely few days at Doornkop Unit 85. We would go back and stay there anytime.
Cushions need an upgrade.
It was our third time at Doornkop 85. The house is spacious with everything one could possibly need. The house is better and more beautiful than in the photos. Ideal for two families.
Excellently positioned unit in the estate, with great views. The kitchen was very well equipped with sharp knives which were great. A real homely house that was exceptionally comfortable from beds to furniture and spotlessly clean.
Wifi would be great to have.
The unit is wonderfully equipped with even plastic cups and bowls for the children. The house is spacious with enough space for 2 families with children. We had a great time and are happy! Thank you very much.

Unbelievably leaky.
We had such a nice stay in unit 85. The kitchen is really very well equipped which made life very easy for us. I also have to give a big compliment that there were quality knives. It's a big frustration when you get to a place and the knives are blunt or of poor quality. The garden is well maintained and the unit was clean and tidy on arrival. The unit is well located and has a beautiful view of the grounds. The large table on the porch was well used and we were able to play games and socialize until late. There is also plenty of wildlife to see, just a shame the giraffes were hiding when we were there over Christmas weekend. The beds were also very comfortable and we slept very well. We rested well and it's really nice and quiet. We will definitely visit unit 85 again.

Feel free to get away from any cell phone reception. Beautiful view and sunsets. Game passes in front of the house. Very comfortable and well-equipped unit, whole family could stay and spend time together. First place to offer tableware suitable for small children. Excellent for a break from the busy hustle and bustle!
We had a great time relaxing as a family at Doornkop. Beautiful views and wildlife to see. The unit was luxurious and has everything you need. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with the family. Guests who come to visit here should be aware of long dirt roads and that there are no shops near the accommodation.
The place is wonderfully furnished for a visit away from home. There is only underfloor heating in the rooms, so take plenty of wood with you to heat the fireplaces if you have caught a cold weekend like us.
Large luxury house with everything you need. Good quality linen and crockery. Even the fridge is big enough to hold 8 people's food and drinks. Most beautiful view. Lovely place to fully experience nature. We will definitely stay there again.

The accommodation is very neat. All accessories are functional and everything you need is there. The resort itself is well cared for and the surroundings are very beautiful.
It was a place that my family and I immediately fell in love with. Warmth from the home welcomes you! The environment is indescribable. The animals are everywhere and my day was made every day by seeing the giraffe. Wildlife is in excellent condition. Was with a heavy heart that we had to come home. The workers are of outstanding quality.

The unit is very neat and spacious. The cleaner was friendly and very thorough. We were able to relax properly. The horse ride was definitely a highlight for all of us. We were received kindly and the helpers made us feel at ease. I recommend this destination with conviction for relaxation and rest.
Comfortable house that is fully equipped. We were there for a mens break and really appreciated the dishwasher. Nice porch with a wonderful view. Had a great time in front of the fireplace on cooler evenings.

Large house with luxurious facilities. We went for a lot of hikes, but we saw kudu, giraffe, zebra, and many other animals from the large patio. Spacious living area with lounge, dining room and fireplace was very nice. We will definitely be back.
Large, spacious house overlooking the mountains and wildlife (wildebeest, impala, red deer, and more). Two swimming pools and horse riding events. Horse riding setup is fantastic!
We spent 2 days here and were really surprised at how beautiful it is. The house is wonderful with everything needed and the view to die for. You can go hiking, angling, horse riding or on a 4x4 ride. Whenever we're in the area again we would definitely stay here. Everything neat and there were more facilities than we expected. Enjoyed the stay and would strongly recommend.

Unit 85 was beautiful and very well equipped. Under floor heating in the bedrooms was a godsend due to the cold weather. As it was winter we saw an abundance of wildlife. The walk up to the waterfall was lovely. The staff were most obliging and welcoming.
