Peaceful and quiet place just outside De Rust. Absolute hospitality. Neat cottages and the breakfast will keep us coming back for more. Swepie's wines are absolutely recommended.
Warm welcome. Beautiful surroundings. Celia and her family made us very welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!

We visited as a family with our two daughters from overseas and our grandchild. Nothing was too much trouble for Celia and her family. They went out of their way to show all the interesting farm activities for our grandson. He and us thought we were in heaven. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a very unexpected treat and we would recommend Doornkraal any time. We had a great time.
We will want to visit and rest there again. Very pleasant place to just relax and get new breath and energy.
Our family really enjoyed Doornkraal. Celia, the hostess, went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We were able to explore the farm and even rode horses. We will never again be able to drive past De Rust and not spend the night at Doornkraal. Ten out of ten!
