This was by far the most memorable holiday ever! Thanks to the host for being such a wonderful host from the moment we arrived until we left. The place was very neat and cozy. We loved the white linen and everything we needed was there! More beautiful than on pictures.

The cottage is beautiful and well furnished. Would just suggest correcting the size of the beds on the ad. The current bed in the master bedroom is a double and not king size, and single not three quarter in the second room. This is a "deal breaker" for me. I was disappointed by this and slept uneasily.

The unit was very neat, clean and modern. All the electrical appliances were in working order. We found everything as advertised and would recommend Apiesdoring anytime. If we may make any recommendation, we would recommend that the single bed mattresses in the 2nd bedroom, as well as the mattress in the living area, be replaced with mattresses that are firmer (slightly worn out). Other than that, no complaints. We also just want to thank Carien for having the closet door in the master bedroom fixed so quickly. Thank you very much Colin and Carien, we really enjoyed our time with you!

What an incredible fantastic experience! Luxury in Marloth! The best experience yet, exceeding all our expectations! Monkey thorn is truly everything and more. We had a great time and it's child friendly. The owners and the staff are fantastic. They attended immediately if we asked anything! Wood and ice were just waiting for us. All I can say is do it!

Spent a lovely short holiday weekend at Marloth Park with my wife. Many animals seen in the park. One cannot always order the weather. Friday and even Saturday was a bit chilly due to the cold front moving through. The Apiesdoring accommodation, especially 1622-A is very neat and well furnished. The owner is very hospitable and has put a lot of detail into the apartment. Everything one needs is there. The daily service is great. The unit is also very safe and luxurious inside. We were extremely impressed with the unit. Would recommend anytime and would definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

Heystek and Amanda gave us a warm welcome, made us feel at home and was very helpful. The accommodation is modern, wheelchair friendly and convenient. Wildebeest, ostriches, warthogs and bush babies were very tame and came to our house. The giraffe slept on the property one night and the kudu's also visited. Marloth is next to the Crocodile River and we had some picnics there and watched the animals on the other side of the fence. We had a braai at night and listened to the sounds of the night. We will definitely go again.

De verwachtingen die wij hadden bij het boeken van deze accommodatie zijn RUIMSCHOOTS overtroffen. Met name de eigenaren Amanda en Heystek hebben hier bijzonder aan bijgedragen en onze drie weken tot een onvergetelijke vakantie gemaakt. Hun gastvrijheid, vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid zijn in één woord geweldig. Op de ruime accommodatie viel niets aan te merken. Deze werd iedere dag schoon gemaakt en was verder van alle gemakken voorzien. Het meeste plezier beleefden we niet alleen aan de giraffen, koedoes, vlakvarkens, impala's en niet te vergeten de zebra's (Zomaar in je achtertuintje en door het raam naar binnen glurend) maar minstens ook aan de braaien waar Heystek zich met volle overgave stortte en het avondeten waar Amanda haar kookkunsten op uitvoerde. De rondtoer door "Lions Spruit" was een echte Afrikaanse belevenis. Al met al: een aanrader van de eerste orde! Amanda en Heystek ga zo door. Jullie hebben onze harten veroverd.

It was our first experience of the Bushveld as a family. Oom Heystek and Tannie Manda made us feel at home and even helped us when my car's battery was giving me trouble. It is amazing to make a fire with the buck, warthog, zebra and kudu right by your feet. The convenience of the cleaning service while you can just sit back and relax is very nice and the place stays clean. Die Bokkie Trokkie outing to Lionspruit was wonderful and all of were a bit sad when we had to leave. All facilities were spotless. We will definitely be back!

My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 evenings at Doringpoort. In the mid-October heat wave, the rooms were delightfully cool and the swimming pool a welcome relief. Very good location close to the river bordering the Kruger National Park. We came to go to Kruger National Park, but saw so many animals in Marloth Park that we didn't even go into the park. Doringpoort Self-catering is definitely a good choice for accommodation in Marloth. Very quiet location with minimal passing traffic. Will definitely make a visit there again.

Animals are plentiful and also tame, we fed them daily and the owner also feeds them. So there is an influx of different animals daily with night monkeys that you can feed at night when they come looking for the bananas and honey. There is also a kiddie truck that takes you on an unforgettable ride through Marloth Park on request. Cleaning service also there which was offered to us for no extra fee. Truly unforgettable holiday.
