The lodge is just 120 m from the Crocodile River, where guests can enjoy an early morning walk to start the day or enjoy the abundant birdlife in the beautiful garden.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 2 en-suite rooms and a loft room. Game such as kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, nyala, impala, warthog, ostrich, and other small game are not restricted by fences and roam freely inside Marloth Park. The nearest entrance to Kruger National Park is Crocodile Bridge Gate which is 20 km away from Marloth Park.

The unit (house) we had was spacious and very tidy. The service was great and the animals that came to visit in the evenings were very special.

Garden is beautiful and the animals, big and small, are just a pleasure to see. The house is very comfortable for 2 families, large kitchen and lovely sitting area, large lapa and comfortable braai area.

Collin and Carine received us kindly. Staff were very helpful and friendly. John's morning and afternoon visits turned into lovely conversations. The unit was fantastic, clean and spacious. Wildlife around the lodge was off the books. The night owls' visit is a highlight. River with the most beautiful sunset only 200 m from the lodge. Definitely recommend the stay to everyone.

Very interesting, nice and private and close to the river. There were several wild animals and we even heard hyenas in the evening. Will definitely go again!

The place is beautifully furnished and equipped, and feels peaceful and comfortable. We had a bit of trouble controlling the temperature of the shower but Colin came over immediately, we appreciated the quick and helpful response. The outdoor area with its braai, fire pit, swimming pool and lapa (with a uniquely special wooden table) is a highlight and we sat there all evening watching the nightcaps. For my mother, who grew up with nightcaps on the farm, it was a great source of nostalgic joy. The place is about a 2 minute walk from the river where we could see ospreys and various species of antelope, not to mention the sunsets. All I can suggest is that the kitchen door maybe get a blind or similar in front for the privacy of those who make coffee in their pajamas in the morning. The dirt roads in Marloth are a bit rougher than I remember them but that's hardly Carien and Colin's fault (just be aware if you have a very low car). The upstairs room is a bit open for me personally but my little boy was very happy to have his own space and spent hours reading there on the day bed. Thanks for everything. We would love to come again.
