It was pleasant to spend the night at DOT JJ B&B.
Very centrally located. Owners' suggestions of "have to do and see" were spot on. They added value to our stunning Cape break.
Friendly and helpful people. Quiet environment. Value for money and the bed sleeps great.
Johan received us kindly. We felt at home. The room was spacious and everything worked. It was clean and very tidy.
Room neat. Breakfast from the books. But unfortunately the room stay was not nice. Bathroom door missing from the room is quite a problem. The room is neat. No ventilation, no window. The bathroom window facing outside was a problem because there is no privacy when people walk through.
The room was perfect, neat and clean. The bathroom was enormous. We took the B&B option and the breakfast portions were generous and delicious. The host was exceptionally friendly, and very good with suggestions of places to go in the area.
They go out of their way to make guests feel at home and go the extra mile to help people.
The reception was far above our fire. The hospitality of the owner was very good, the breakfast was just as good. Will sleep there again next time, the rooms were just as neat.
All I can say, is that relaxation is the main point of the visit, and relaxation and more is what I received. Thank you once again to Yolanda Joubert for the fabulous stay.

Although I am used to having a private space, I quickly adapted to staying in a room that's part of a bigger house. The shopping centre is only 2 km's away and thus perfect for dinners. The breakfast is great and even better than expensive guesthouses in Paarl.
Fair value. Clean, neat, on street parking not ideal.
TV was a little fuzzy in the room on some channels but I didn't need it. Secure parking, going to be a bit difficult if the guest house is full. But other than that, they were very nice and friendly people who would like to help you. Delicious breakfast that was just right for me to give me strength for the day. Bed slept great. Definitely value for money.

We only used the guest house to spend the night after a wedding, but all that was not so nice was our car that had to be parked outside on the street, the aunt said there would be parking for our car behind a gate but when we got there after 24:00 the parking space was taken and we had to park outside on the street. But the aunt and uncle are very friendly and they also give a big breakfast. The rooms are very neat and clean.

At most places you clock in and out because that's just the way you do it, but here we were received with so much kindness and love. Uncle Johan and Aunt Dot are special people who really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome! The homeliness and delicious breakfast is something to write home about! For a quick, affordable, nice and clean accommodation option, Dot J J B&B is always an excellent winner. It's conveniently close to the highway and the rooms are beautifully furnished. You never feel superfluous and the reception is always extremely warm, almost like visiting family.

I would definitely recommend the accommodation. The aircon of one of the rooms, however, didn't work, but that was the only negative point.
Dot and Johan are extremely hospitable. One of our family members, who was not staying with us, could have breakfast with us in the mornings for an extra tip. We felt very much at home. I chose Dot J J B&B because of the good reviews that were written. Dot and Johan's hospitality definitely makes one's stay here worthwhile! The rooms are clean, with lovely clean bedding and air conditioning in the rooms. The rooms' entrances are all inside the house, but that was no problem. They also serve a delicious breakfast. All that bothered me was that the B&B is close to the highway and if you don't have the air conditioning on, the traffic is quite disturbing.

We were four people, two adults and two teenagers. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, nice bedding and pillows with plenty of hot water available. However, nothing can prepare one for the warm hospitality of Johan and Dot! Never before have I stayed in a guest house where the owners have bowled me over like this! Not to mention the delicious bottle of wine that Johan shared with us on the spur of the moment. Many thanks Johan and Dot! You will definitely see us again!

Thank you very much, we had a great time. As father, mother and two adult daughters, it was our first visit together in a long time and we felt like we were visiting our own home. Upon arrival we were received like family that had not been seen for a long time and we immediately felt at home. Clean, neat, cool rooms welcomed us and we could kick off our shoes and relax.
