Greeted with the most beautiful and well-kept surroundings. The unit was neat, clean, comfortable and met all our expectations. Friendliness continued at the restaurant where well-trained and professional staff served us with exquisitely prepared food and excellent service. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and will visit again soon.
What a wonderful experience at Draaihoek. Beautiful place, location and nicest rooms. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again. Rest well for your soul.

It was a great experience from the friendly staff to the cosy feel in the lodges. Would highly recommend the place for anyone to stay whether it's for 1 night or 1 week.
First time stayed there for one night with the roar of the sea in the background and a nice cool sea breeze coming in through the window. Next time we will definitely stay longer!

We have visited Draaihoek a few times before and the nice fireplace and great sleeping comfort are wonderful. The beach is very beautiful and the sunsets from the dunes are beautiful.
Food was absolutely superb.
Very calm. Have fun switching off there. People very friendly and helpful. The meals are delicious. In flower time it will be even more beautiful there. Campsite will come in handy going forward.
Nice destination in an unspoilt area, good evening or weekend getaway without children. Facility is neat and service is very good, but it should not be compared with similar accommodation ratings in the Southern Cape. The luxury lies in nature's splendor and silence.
Although it is indicated as an above average standard we were not really very impressed. Was average at best. I have found better places and especially restaurants and service for half the price. Yes the beach is fantastic once you get over the dunes, but that's about it.
The sea is a short walk away from your unit. Nature is an experience. For sure a place I would recommend to every person.

People are very helpful and friendly. Accommodation is brilliant and so beautiful.
The lodge is beautiful and neat. It does need some maintenance though. The chalets aren't very private and other guests and staff just walk by. Maybe you can put up some bushes or wall to prevent this. You would then be able to open the big doors and leave them open without people looking in. There's also not a lot windows to open during the day or night when the rooms gets hot. No fans or air-conditioning.
Everything is so perfect with a good eye for detail, staff is professional, friendly and well trained. Beautiful place!
Between nothing and nowhere lies this beautiful lodge full of surprises. We rented the whole manor house with lovely decor and warm fireplaces. The staff was absolutely excellent and helpful and the rooms spacious with luxurious bedding. The meals were prepared exceptionally. Definitely 5 star accommodation.
Very neat and well designed and laid out. Friendly, professional service with beautiful surroundings and delicious meals prepared on site. Highly recommended. The silence and the beauty of the field, sand and sea calms your mind.
