Lovely little flatlet within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The host was so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
We were feeling at home! The place is nice and clean! Quiet, private, close to the restaurant and the shops! We were safe, and we had all the comfort! We arrived in the afternoon and the cottage was nice and warm!

Vernon and Pam are incredibly hospitable. I was never without electricity even during load shedding. The unit is super neat and very well furnished. It is safe and cuddly even in the cold Clarens. When I left, my car was sprayed after a week in Clarens! Vernon also called to see if I had arrived home safely. I can really recommend Dragonfly and will definitely stay there again.
Perfect location! Tranquil surroundings and walking distance to the centre of the picturesque village of Clarens.
We really enjoyed the stay. The Host Vernon was very welcoming and accommodating to the point of offering us his cleaning products and use of his facilities to wash our motorcycles. The accommodation was clean, secure and very homely! The big stoep area with a fireplace is an awesome touch of space to chill and watch the sunrise. Overall a great place and my future first pic when visiting Clarens. With friends or family, i would highly recommend this establishment. The only recommendation I can make is to fit a second safe (lockable by key only as with the current), in the second bedroom as this allows for more secure storage and allows each room personal storage space. Overall 5/5!
Very accommodating. Friendly and most importantly load-shedding equipped as well as borehole water which was a plus as some of the town experience water shortages.

This is a unique guesthouse. The security is top notch and Vernon told us so much about all the places and things. He is a true host. We come to Clarens a lot, but this was a particularly neat, beautiful place. I will come again. You deserve 5 stars.

Vernon is an excellent host - he was concerned that we were warm enough, and that our stay was comfortable. The unit is equipped with everything one needs, and is spotless and tidy. He even provided us with firewood. Beautiful view of the mountains. We stayed wonderfully warm and had a great time. Will definitely stay there again.
We had a very pleasant stay and the owner was friendly and helpful in all respects.
Both my husband and I travel a lot for various reasons, and we have never met anyone like Vernon - he was so incredibly hospitable and helpful. We arrived very late and after we called to inform him he even turned on the heater for us so that our stay was nice and warm. We will definitely stay there again if we have to go back to Clarens.

Vernon always made sure we had everything we needed. There was even braai wood available. When load shedding struck, he immediately turned on emergency power.
Nice, clean accommodation. Vernon went out of his way to assist us when our vehicle broke down. He even lent us his own van for the evening! Thank you very much. I would only suggest that, if possible, the WiFi signal is strengthened, had trouble with the connection.

The ground road to this guesthouse is very bad, especially when it has been raining, but the self-catering accommodation is good. Plunger coffee instead of instant would have been nice.
Vernon and his wife Pam went out of their way. My husband drove his motorcycle and I drove my car. My husband struggled a bit with the bit of road to Dragonfly's entrance and Vernon helped him park his motorbike.

Not a complaint, just a recommendation. Porch can be extended a little and have a roof over with a small braai for rainy days. Otherwise perfect place and can recommend it.

The accommodation is very clean and tidy, in a quiet area of Clarens although it is not at all far from the town square. My wife and I just walked where we wanted to be and enjoyed the outdoors.
