The location of the house is good with a view over the valley. It is also detached which makes it peaceful, but the traffic on the main road is very busy during the day. Martin made an effort to show us his "factory" as well as the start of the hiking trail. It had been very interesting to listen to the story. The house (Cloud Nine) has an impractical layout - have to go through a bedroom to get to the bathroom. As a family it didn't bother me that much, but it can be uncomfortable.
Clean neat safe. Close to many places of interest. Nature around is beautiful.
Very private and quiet cottage against the mountains. Very central and close to everything. 2 ponds to fish, but my "skills" must have let me down. Nothing caught.
The cottage is set in a beautiful rise with spectacular view over the valley and at the back of the cottage is Champaign Castle - wow! The double bed is perfect but the single bed mattresses are below standard and could do with replacing. Bedside lights could be added too. The shower was beautiful.The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for a braai. We enjoyed our one night stop over!
The place is fabulous.
This truly is a gem. The location is perfect. You live right next to a waterfall, fishing dam, walking routes, and the Birds of Prey Centre. There is wildlife in your front yard, incredible views, and the hosts are such awesome and kind people.
We were received very kindly. Room was upgraded due to another cancellation at no extra charge. Very clean. Well equipped.

Stunning mountains, accommodation gave us everything we needed.
We booked for four nights, but decided to look for other accommodation after the first night. There were just too many little things that bothered. Like e.g. no reception. We had to call three times upon our arrival at the gate until we were finally in the cottage. Nor was it communicated to us ahead of time how the check-in procedure works. The bedroom's layout is such that the bedrooms are next to each other and the bathroom is on one side, which means that the guests in one room have to move through the other room to the bathroom. It can get quite uncomfortable at night. The braai was still full of the previous guests' ashes, barbecue bones and cigarette butts. The door to the outside in the living room was also problematic. We are not haughty, picky guests, but at least there are basic things as mentioned above that one expects. The view of the mountains from the porch is very beautiful and one can see far.
Excellent value for money not to mention the views, quiet and peace!
Spacious, incredible views and very quiet. Central to everything.
