Dreamriver has an inverter and solar system , so guests are not exposed to the discomfort of loadshedding. A borehole with Jo-Jo tanks and pressure pumps ensures that guests never experience a water shortage.
A hearty breakfast and other delectable meals can be ordered from an à la carte menu. Meals are brought to you in the privacy of your room and food packs can be arranged as well. The kitchen closes at 18:00 - be sure to arrange timeously should you like to enjoy dinner.

The unit was very neat. Nicely fried under the lapa. Enjoy the short walk past all the animals on the way to the river. Pool was clean and those who are not afraid of early spring cold water enjoyed it. Easy to find the place and as soon as you enter the gates you forget about the decay of the village. The people are friendly.

Wow, the room we stayed in was on the top shelves. Everything had been perfect, the road in Warrenton is just very bad, but upon arrival at DreamView Guets House the bad road was forgotten.
The manager was very helpful and friendly, as well as the general worker or gardener. Beautiful place. Would definitely recommend it. The rest of the staff need more training on how to handle customers. During our stay no one came to ask if we were still okay. I had to call for toilet paper after it ran out. I was addressed as 'you and you', but the white man who arrived on our last night was addressed as Mr. I also had to ask for a receipt. Customer service is poor. The gardener was a star!

Very neat and quiet.
The venue was very clean and comfortable. The only gripe we have is that when the host called to confirm our arrival time, she omitted to inform us that we had to place our order from their restaurant by 16:30. Needless to say, we arrived after that time and had to make alternative plans for dinner, which proved to be a very big challenge. The other thing that was a bit of an irritation was that the lady that booked us in was no help at all when we enquired about restaurants in town; all she said was "In town and it is close" - was quite grumpy actually.
There is much to see on the Vaal River and to learn in the area regarding the water scheme which is connected to, among others, the Harts River.
Excellent accommodation as well as the gardens. Staff are friendly and very helpful and the meals are top notch. The whole setting makes you forget about the decay taking place in the town.

We had everything we needed. The restaurant service on site is great and the portions very generous. Safe parking, and so beautiful next to the river.
Wish there was a 2nd bathroom or shower. 4 adults using 1 ablution not ideal.
Because we took the 2 yorkies with us, we were forced into a wooden house that was not up to standard.
