Familiar with Driftsands flats. Great to see they are still excellently maintained and trying to lessen their carbon footprint.

Tables by windows that open onto the sea present a danger to guests with toddlers as toddlers can climb onto the table and fall out of the windows.
The apartment has everything you need, pots, pans, stove, kettle, DStv. It was a really cute place.
We really enjoyed our stay at Driftsands 36. Lynette, the building manager was so very friendly and assisted us with everything we needed. The apartment was very clean and had all the goods needed to make food and sleep. The beds are good quality as well. The view of the sun rising in the mornings from the apartment are just wonderful and the access from the building directly to the beach was just great. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay. The only disappointment was that there are not enough barbecues on site. The block was full so there had to be a queue to barbecue.
The apartment has a TV, despite the photos not showing it. We had everything we needed in the apartment. If I could only make one criticism, it would be to replace the 2 easy chairs with a 2 seater sofa.

Color shade suits a seaside holiday!
We saw whales from the living area, what a view! Will definitely go again, neat and has everything you need. Definitely safe. Just not so "safe" if you have a small 2 year old who climbs and climbs on als, the little wall to the apartment is very low and we had to take the table and chairs away from the window because there is nothing to stop it. We just had to watch and make sure she knew she wasn't allowed to be there or climb. Also 100% awesome! Aunt Lynette was so friendly and helpful! Will go back again!

We are pensioners and found Driftsands ideal. The flat has a lovely sea view, and is very well equipped. It is right on the beach, which is quiet, safe and clean. Lynette, the caretaker, was very friendly and helpful. Our flat was on the 3rd floor.

It was a lovely holiday with my husband and son. It was very noisy throughout the day with someone drilling or grinding all the time, but the apartment was very neat and clean and Lynette and her husband were very helpful and friendly. Driftsands 36 is a nice surprise. It's very neat and clean in a great quiet area and very safe. Warm reception by the caretaker, Lynette. Will go back for a great getaway.
The reception was friendly and we were immediately taken to the apartment and the route to the beach was explained, as well as the opening and closing of the gate. The lift was clean and in good order. There was no noise. The beach with direct access is nice and clean. Very good value for money. The bed was firm and the night's rest was very good. The apartment was also clean on arrival.

Now it wasn't on the swimming beach, but within walking distance for sure. Unfortunately the swimming beach was closed to us because of sharks, but the main beach was a 5 minute drive and we went there every morning and had a good time swimming and hanging out. It is a self-catering apartment with shops nearby. The train track across the road didn't bother me after the first day and if the big windows are open you only hear the sea anyway. Apartment is very neat and modern. There is a working washing machine which comes in handy.

- Guests have access to a parking lot. Any additional vehicles will be R25 per night and a trailer R30 per night. It is payable directly to the body corporate of Driftsands on arrival.
- If guests leave earlier than arranged, no fees will be refunded.
- All changes or cancellations of the booking must be made in writing.
- No pets are allowed and if guests are found guilty, a penalty of R500 will be charged and the unit must be evacuated immediately.
- Please note that the water reading for the unit is read by the caretaker on the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a weekend, the reading will be taken on the nearest working day. If the guest is unavailable to open the deur, the caretaker reserves the right to open the unit and to take the reading.
