Owner of the accommodation called me early in the morning when we were already on the road, and asked if we wanted to check in earlier. When we checked in at 12 o'clock everything was perfect and clean. . Happy to recommend to anyone.
Note that there are some stairs. This of course helps for the better sea view. There is also a braai place available. The bed was very comfortable, a must after a long day of driving.

The accommodation is more spacious in person than it looks in the photos, and very neat and clean. Everything from the bed to the decor is good quality. It is 5 min walking distance from the Umhali beach. We experienced no load shedding, I think the unit has backup power kicking in, big bonus. For the price you pay and the quality of the accommodation, this is the best value for money in Ballito.
The photos don't do justice on the internet because wow the cottage is very clean and spacious. Salt rocks is such a beautiful and peaceful place.

Didn't know that the flat was attached to the owners house which we didn't enjoy.
We really enjoyed the stayover. Everything we could possible need was available. Even though the power in Salt Rock was off we were made comfortable and everything possible was done to fix this problem. My husband is over 2m tall and the bed was extremely comfortable and long enough. Will definitely go back for a longer stay.

We were truly very happy with our stay at Driftwood. The only negative point I can possibly mention is that the shower tiles are dangerously slippery when wet.
I enjoyed my stay at Driftwood. I was a bit unsettled about the loose dogs at first but Anel was very patient with familiarizing us with them. The beach was a beautiful walk away and the Ballito Junction catered for all our dining out needs. The accommodation had full self-catering services.

We were in this fantastic self-catering cottage for 16 days. It was one of the most beautiful and nicest places we have ever visited. Everything is clean and tidy and only the best accessories are used. The owners are very friendly and carry people on their hands. The beautiful blue flag beach is within walking distance from there and the braai deck with its bit of sea view was a lovely place to visit. Will definitely stay with them again.
