This is a very quiet neighbourhood, we would appreciate discretion when it comes to loud music and parties.

It was very nice. The house is located in a quiet area.
Stay was well enjoyed and comfortable, apart from one bunk mattress being too soft, but otherwise very clean and central to our daily journeys and visits to other family in De Kelder, Perlemoen Baai and Franskraal.
We decided as a family to spend some time in the Western Cape from Bloemfontein and Vanderbijlpark. We booked the big house where everyone gathered in the morning and left for their own homes in the evening. My mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law spent the night there. The house is equipped with possibly everything that may be needed. We will definitely book again with Liesl! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

The front gate was difficult to move because the grass was not cut. the geyser was leaking by the send night - was not a plesant experience. some of the wooden spoons was moldy. maybe have two disclothes available in stead of one. have some sunlight liquid soap and a sponge avail.
On the surface, Driftwood looks like just another unit, but it's when you make yourself at home in front of the fire on the porch that you appreciate the beautiful sea view and sunsets. The unit is walking distance from the beach, walking distance from a well-equipped cafe and Gansbaai's larger shops are just around the corner. Absolutely value for money. We will visit again.
Need tea, coffee and sugar on arrival and washing up liquid for washing dishes. Otherwise pleasant stay.
There were stains on my sheet (on the bunk bed) which gives the impression that the bedding may not be spotless. Something like place mats for eating at the breakfast counter would have been good too. It was quite disturbing that the host and the person who had to come to collect the keys did not check when we checked out. We received alarming WhatsApps from both parties asking what we had done with the keys on our second day.
Refrigerator does not work one hundred percent. Refrigerator was not already on before our arrival. Bed needs to be replaced. Not good quality bedding, we slept cold.
The owner Liesel was very accommodating and friendly in our communication. The agent who provided the key was just as friendly. The power being out like this obviously affects any holiday and I would recommend that the owners make more provision to make it easier for tenants with gas appliances, more rechargeable battery lights etc. Of course, it would have been great if the braai on the porch was more sheltered, especially with small children and the windy weather. In summary, it was pleasant accommodation, friendly service and I would recommend it.
The house has everything 4 people need.

Very nice December holiday with 2 toddlers, nicely decorated with a nice view and nice barbecue area!
Cozy place away from home needs a bit of make-up outside otherwise nice getaway.
Would return at any time in a flash enjoyed the family activities they had there was family time well spent. People are friendly and enjoyed the peace and quiet very much.
Very peaceful and safe, beautiful and clean. Can recommend for people with kids.
The shower pipe was blocked we had to clean the water every time after every shower, the blankets was received was dog/cats hair, no washing line, no orientation was given on arrival, main bedroom bed cover was not there, children bed only mantras cover no sheets. It looks like they didn't prepare the place for us. Kitchen and dining room was nice.
We ejoyed our stay in the quaint cottage. All required amenities displayed in such interesting decor!.
House is neat. Covered porch will make it perfect.
