Drongo Cottage is a self-catering farmhouse located in Sandfields and Forests Private Wildlife Reserve. Sandfields offers an intimate and rejuvenating bush experience with facilities for small and larger groups seeking wildlife and outdoor getaways, as well as retreats.

This farmhouse offers accommodation for 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedroom are both furnished with queen-size beds. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The first bathroom is fitted with a bath, washbasin and toilet and the second bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The unit has an open-plan living room and dining area and a separate kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, traditional stove and oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating. Guests have access to a covered patio that is furnished with a dining table and braai facilities.

Self-drive game drives are available by arrangement. The reserve, spanning 2428 hectares near South Africa's Nyl floodplain, allows self-drive game drives upon arrangement. It is an internationally recognized Ramsar and World Heritage site with diverse birdlife around 361 species and a variety of wildlife, including impala, tsessebe, roan, eland, red hartebeest, southern common reedbuck, nyala, zebra, giraffe, and predators like leopard, brown hyena, caracal, serval, and jackal.
