We really enjoyed our stay; it was fantastic to be exact. Even under the rough weather conditions, we had a blast. It's a nice atmosphere to relax and do whatever your heart desires, especially if you need some quality time for yourself or for you and your other half. The host is such a lovely lady and does her best to make your stay even more comfortable. She really made things extra special for us just by being herself. We are most definitely going back. xx.
Carin was such a great host. We really enjoyed our time staying here. We walked on the beach and had coffee on the outside patio, enjoying the surrounding mountain and sea views. This is a little gem and worth the visit. Thank you for your hospitality.
It was a wonderful experience!
Carin contacted us and explained nicely where Drop Anchor was, she waited for us and gave us a very friendly welcome. It was our best eight days in Gordons Bay. It is close to the Beach and other places. One has the most beautiful views from the deck where you can even sit and eat or drink a glass of wine. We will definitely recommend Drop Anchor and make it our home when we are in the Cape. Thank you Carin for your kindness. I miss the sunsets there with you every day.
Stay was excellent and the host was kind and friendly even though she just came from hospital.
Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 days. It was the best time we had in a very long time. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. You are on the beach with amazing 360 views of the mountains. I would highly recommend this slice of heaven. Drop your anchor and make this your home away from home. For us this is now our home away from home.
Was perfect, had such a fun time. Would recommend two nights as one day is too little time to explore the surrounds.

Was an awesome stay, especially if you want to take a break from the city rush and do nothing. Not even preparing food. Would recommend you take a tablet or laptop in case of bad weather.
Accommodation was good for my needs. No TV in the room, for some it would be necessary. I stayed three nights, was only at the property at night time. Didn't do any sightseeing, so can't comment on that. A hotel and other restaurants were close by for something to eat, just outside of the property.
We had a very nice stay. Will go back again. It is close to the beach and other places. The place is only for sleeping and showering. Makes coffee even though there is a kitchen, value in we could have just used the kettle. There is no place for cooking.
