The lodge was beautiful and clean with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The hostess was friendly and extremely helpful to make us feel really at home. This lodge is a real gem in this little town. I would recommend this lodge 100% and more.
Relaxing weekend, with beautiful scenic views. The host and staff were friendly and accommodating.
Reception was really very efficient. The lady went ahead of us to show where the butchery was. So, we made a braai for supper. The place was very cosy, clean and safe, and even departure was easy as we left early.
Excellent place to stay with the most thoughtful extra touches: an essential first aid kit, rusks for our morning coffee, and salt/pepper for the braai. Great value for money and a good view from atop the hill.

Spacious, comfy bed, well equipped, hot shower, Wi-Fi, TV, parking outside the room, lovely extras like a tot of sherry and rusks. Would definitely stay again when stopping off overnight!
Staff are friendly and professional.
Everything was lovely, rusks, milk, even Rennies, plaster etc. in case you needed it. The only downside was its proximity to the hospital, so it was very busy and very noisy. The outside table is also rotten and warped and needs to be thrown away and replaced.
Had to wait for an hour for someone to let us in after letting them know what time to expect us. Shower head leaking at wall and one kitchen door off its hinges.
No water was available when we got there or left the next morning!

The bed was very comfortable. Good hot shower and bathroom facilities. Kitchen: Tap mixer needs repair or securing. Only 1 cereal bowl. Surprisingly full DStv bouquet and a little decanter of port! And a hairdryer. No armchair or seating option other than barstools in kitchen or on the bed. Noise factor: This is my main objection that will mean no return. After a long travel, I enjoy peace and quiet. Not shown on advert are permanent residences on same property, and behind rental accommodation. Loud living: talking, laughter, baby crying, kids playing ball outside our window, music and for sure their normal living but for me uninterrupted noise all afternoon and well into the night. Sorry to complain, and of course, others may not find this an issue at all.
The accommodation is extremely neat. The place is basically furnished, but meets self-catering needs. The beds were great, which made for a good night's rest.
Was kindly received. The unit was tidy and there was everything you need for a night's sleep. The towels on the bed were rolled up like Elephants - very special.

We were pleasantly surprised! Friendly welcome by a helpful woman. On arrival there is even a 'welcome drink' waiting. Best value for money yet! From WiFi to a disprin you get here. Extremely neat and clean. Would recommend to anyone. You park right in front of your accommodation behind a gate and within walls. The place looks better than in the pictures.

The beds were great, the accommodation was clean, we enjoyed the sherry. As there were three of us booked into the unit I would have expected to see 3 plates, cups, glasses and cutlery, etc. which there was not! There were also no drinking glasses/tumblers. We did enjoy our stay.
