15 guests' feedbackWhere to start? The safety is great! The silence at night or day is so wonderful that you only hear the sea. In the master bedroom you look directly at the sea and see how the waves break. The sound of waves breaking and the noise of the town quietly disappearing does wonders for a broken heart or soul.
Du Bantry 8 is a comfortable residential unit close enough to the sea to experience the sea. The sound and smell of the sea is with you. The unit is comfortable with everything you need. Non DSTV users should take a memory stick with movies on it, because only DSTV users who have their own card etc. can use the TV. The sitting/dining room is very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but fully equipped. There is even a dishwasher and washing machine. Although the bathroom is large, it is only a bath with a hand shower. The unit was very clean and tidy, but needs finer care, like a mirror standing on the ground.
We had a lovely time.
The area is unsafe and the water shortage is a bit of a concern.
Firstly there are hidden cost of R1000 (damages but refundable) and the owner of Uvongo holidays was very rude (Luzelle). We arrived there and had to wait for 45min to enter after 8 hour drive.
The unit was clean and well equipped. Even though we did not use the kitchen appliances, everything was there and ready to be used. The unit is well situated to the beach and close to two very good restaurants in the area. We will definitely book here again in future.
This is an incredibly beautiful apartment. Super well equipped with more than you need. They will see us again.
Joan, who handed over keys to the apartment, met us with such friendly pleasantness, as if she had known us for years. At the complex the remote wouldn't open the gate and Wayne the caretaker helped us immediately and was also very friendly. Apartment is large and fully equipped with everything you need on a daily basis, very clean and tidy. Good location and will definitely book there again.
This is a beautiful, clean place to stay. Really good value for money.
Apartment clean and extremely comfortably furnished. Nice quiet environment. Apartment comfortable with washing machine and dishwasher. Gardens are a feast for the eyes.
Maybe better outside shower. Water pressure low and shower heads blocked.
Loved the stay. Only short of other beds, the beds were very uncomfortable. Wonderful place, it's already my second time in a year that I use the accommodation.
The apartment is cute and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was very nice to lie in bed in the morning and be able to see the sea. Now if I have to nitpick and "complain" about something it is that the deck and braai area are not private.
Recommendation would be a shower.
The bathroom does not have a shower, just a hand sink with a bathtub that is old and stained. For the price I expected more. The furniture is old and old fashioned. The place needs a little love and care.

No day visitors are allowed or from other units.
No loud music, noise, or parties are allowed at any time of day. Quiet times are from 20:00 to 08:00.
The responsible tenant must be 25 years old or older.
All outstanding fees are payable before the unit is occupied via cash, EFT and bank deposits. It will be refunded on the 7th and 21st day of every month closest to your departure date.
No pets allowed.
Smoking inside the unit is not permitted.
Cleaning services are available for an additional cost only on weekdays.
